XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Land Rover FREELANDER 2 2006-2014

The Freelander 2’s Haldex AWD system rewards chassis balance in a way that front-wheel-drive cars simply don’t. Dial the understeer back through stiffer, lower geometry and the rear clutch pack starts to do real work – what arrives at the front axle begins to feel measured rather than excessive. That transformation starts with the suspension, and the LN02 platform’s MacPherson front and multi-link rear are well-suited to a properly designed coilover conversion.

The Circuit Master is XYZ Racing’s circuit-focused coilover for the Freelander 2 2006-2014, built to reduce the 1,700kg-plus SUV’s characteristic body roll and sharpen the handling envelope enough to hold a line through high-speed corners without the nose consistently running wide.

What this coilover does for your 2006-2014 Land Rover Freelander 2

The stock Freelander 2 carries its weight high and runs springs calibrated for passenger loads and mixed surfaces – a sensible road compromise that penalises the car sharply on circuit. The Circuit Master replaces that setup with a coilover offering 9720 distinct damping and spring-rate combinations, accessed through three independent adjustment knobs. Bring the ride height down, stiffen compression and rebound to match the reduced travel, and the LN02’s Haldex behaviour changes character: roll-induced unloading at the inside front reduces, turn-in sharpens, and the four-wheel traction the car naturally carries becomes an asset in corner exit rather than a constraint. High-speed damping can be tuned separately from low-speed response, so the setup that works through Maggots-Becketts isn’t the same one you’re locked into on the road between sessions.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the upper end of the XYZ Racing coilover range, developed specifically for sustained circuit use across Racing Spec, Drift Spec, and Tarmac Rally applications, then validated by XYZ Racing teams on circuits worldwide. Its three-knob adjustment architecture separates high-speed, low-speed, and spring preload control, producing 9720 individual adjustment combinations from a single damper unit. The design uses a small-bore oil passage through the piston; at circuit speeds this produces consistent, repeatable damping force across a session, though the restricted flow does generate audible feedback over sharp-edged bumps at road speed – a known characteristic of the small-hole piston design, not a defect. The spec assumes smooth circuit tarmac, and on that surface it delivers what the architecture promises.

Fitment for the Land Rover Freelander 2 (2006-2014)

This coilover set covers the Freelander 2 under chassis code LN02 across the full 2006 to 2014 production run, including both TD4 diesel and Si6 petrol variants. The front unit replaces the factory MacPherson strut assembly; the rear integrates with the multi-link independent suspension geometry. Verify your chassis code against LN02 before ordering – the Freelander 2 ran through a mid-life facelift in 2010 without a platform change, so the fitment covers pre- and post-facelift cars equally.

This is the best design, on the competitive version such as Racing Spec, Drift Spec, Tarmac Rally. This is the ultimate boutique for racing in many international athletics tracks, and test for a long time. This is for purchase handling high performance and the essential partner in different racing. Circuit Master Damper is tested through XYZ racing teams all over the world. 9720 ways of different adjustments can meet all customers’ needs and win the 1st place in every race.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
