XYZ Tarmac Rally PORSCHE 964 CARRERA-2 SUSPENSION COILOVER KIT
This damper is designed specifically for Tarmac Rallying.
The design includes a large internal piston which will make your Porsche absorb the jolt when rallying across big bumps, effectively suppressing the shock body and increasing the tireφs traction.
Stability will give you an experience perfect handling in your 964.
All the settings from our Tarmac Rally racing team are tried and tested by rallying engineers.

Each kit comes with pillowball top mount on both front and rear, which enables you to experience excellent handling ever. All the pillowball top mounts in McPherson strut with camber adjustable
- Feature of inverted mono tube design
Feature of inverted mono tube design is suitable for use in tarmac rally coilover system. It keeps damping stability on the uneven road. With larger piston diameter of 45mm, and shock body 51.5mm, it can bear the side way aggressive strong movement. Increase the amount of oil effectively inhibit the oil temperature rise, it can make coilover keeps excellent performance in intense manipulation.
- Fully adjustable lower mount
A movable lower mount is adopted. Either ride height or pre-load can be adjusted by the adjusting bottom mount.φ Shock body made by steel, therefore, it can sustain strong side way gravity.
With steel material (SPHC-C), it can enhance its strength. Furthermore, it can avoid unusual movement after wheel oriented for a while driving and improve lower mount distorted problems which is caused when turning.
Aluminium upper mount for wishbone coiloverφBecause there is no such problems like turning steering wheel, it made by aluminium material (A6061)to reduce the weight and enhance the ability to dissipate heat.
- Damping adjustable
Tarmac rally type damper has 30 different way of damping settings enables our products to bring the best performance for different tarmac rally tracks.
- φAnti-rust coating
All thread parts are coated with Fluorine to prevent corrosion or adherence. The lower mount is made with forged or anodised. All the products made with steel are go through rigid test system.
- φCoil spring
Each application comes with pillow ball top mount which can enable you to experience the driving feel directly. All parts are made by high quality (SAE9254). Tarmac rally damper is equipped with the springs that have the most perfect spring rates.
- Hard rubber
Made with steel (1008A), and forged with high-pressure. With its hardness, it can prevent loose problems when turning a McPherson lower mount.
- Spring bearing
The piece put between the spring and the locking ring is Teflon bearing, it can eliminate strange noises efficiency and allow a vehicle to move more smoothly when turning
This coilover is special designed for Tarmac Rally. It keeps damping stability on the uneven road. Each kit comes with pillowball top mount on both front and rear, which enables you to experience excellent handling ever. All the pillowball top mounts in McPherson strut with camber adjustable. However, because of the design it is easy to create some slight unusual sound when come across big bumps. Basically, all kind of racing coilover is design for performance at special road and is not suggested to use our Porsche 964 tarmac rally coilovers on the road.
The pillowball top mount is camber degree adjustable, which increases the handling and stability of your car by 10%.
The drawback to a pillow ball top mount is that the it can create a slight noise whilst going over bumps which isnt a problem for racing setup vehicles however its something you should consider if using the vehicle for everyday road use.
Please Note: Noise produced by the pillow ball top mount is not a manufacturing defect and therefore is not covered under warranty.
McPherson struts by default have pillow ball, for certain models we can provide rubber at no additional cost, please state in the order comments or email us after ordering if you would like them to be changed.
Please Note: All double-wishbone suspensions with pillowball top mount are camber unadjustable.
