XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally Coilovers — Toyota VIOS XP90 TYPE 1 (Front top mount with bolts) 2007-2013

The Toyota Vios XP90’s light kerb weight and torsion-beam rear axle are a gift on smooth circuits and a liability on broken rally tarmac, where the back end skips over mid-corner ruts and the front loses bite the instant the surface breaks up. The XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally coilover is built for that exact surface: sealed stages laced with potholes, patched repairs and crests that unsettle a standard car.

This is the sealed-stage rally specification, not a fast-road kit pressed into service. The damping is set to soak up sharp impacts and keep all four tyres loaded through the rough, so a 2007-2013 Vios holds the line you chose instead of deflecting off every ridge.

What these coilovers do for your 2007-2013 Toyota Vios XP90

On a poor surface the difference is immediate. The car stops bouncing off bumps and starts tracking through them, which lets you commit to a line earlier and carry corner speed you would normally scrub off in self-preservation. Because the tyres stay in contact rather than chattering across broken edges, you get more usable traction out of the front axle under power and more braking confidence into a turn. Body movement is better controlled too, so the lightweight Vios feels planted rather than skittish when the road falls apart. Ride height is adjustable, letting you set the car to suit a given stage and load.

About the Tarmac Rally coilover

The Tarmac Rally coilover is a rally-specific damper, not a road spring kit with a stiffer rate. XYZ Racing built it to absorb the impact of uneven pavement – the sunken drain covers, patched seams and broken edges that define a sealed tarmac stage. Over the larger hits it soaks the jolt before it reaches the shell, damping out the body shock that would otherwise pitch the car off line. Keeping the tyres pressed into the road is the whole point: more consistent contact means more traction and a more stable platform to place the Vios accurately at speed. The settings are drawn directly from XYZ Racing’s own Tarmac Rally competition experience, so the valving reflects how the car is genuinely driven on a stage rather than a guess at it.

Fitment for the Toyota Vios XP90 (2007-2013)

This kit is matched to the Toyota Vios XP90 (chassis code TO57) across the 2007-2013 production span. It is the front top-mount-with-bolts configuration, so the front struts locate to the standard mounting points without modification.
