XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Toyota GR YARIS GXPA16 4WD (Modified Rear Integrated) 2024-2026

The GR Yaris GXPA16’s homologation-bred platform runs a wheelbase barely over 2.56 metres and a GR-FOUR torque-split system that shifts drive to whichever axle has grip, which means the suspension has to work overtime the moment a wheel leaves tarmac. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover for this 4WD chassis, in the Modified Rr Integrated fitment, is built specifically for that scenario: loose, broken or snow-covered surfaces where a standard road-biased damper runs out of stroke long before the tyre runs out of grip.

This is the gravel and snow-spec kit in the Pro Racing range, fitted for rally and rallycross use where compressions arrive without warning and the car needs to stay planted through them rather than skip across the surface. On a GR Yaris built with WRC-adjacent intent, that is the brief this coilover answers.

What this coilover does for your 2024-2026 Toyota GR Yaris GXPA16 4WD (Modified Rr Integrated)

With the GR-FOUR system able to send up to 70 percent of torque rearward in Sport mode, both axles need suspension that can absorb a hard landing without kicking the car off line. The extended front and rear travel on this kit adds a genuinely bigger buffer zone before the damper bottoms out, so a compression that would spike through a standard strut gets absorbed while the chassis stays settled. The larger oil and nitrogen gas volume inside each damper matters just as much as the travel figure: it keeps oil temperature down across a long stage or a full day of testing, so the damping settings you choose at the start of a run stay put by the end of it. Three external adjustment knobs per corner let you retune compression and rebound separately front to rear, useful given how much the GR-FOUR system already shifts the car’s balance between axles depending on drive mode. The rear-integrated mounting this kit uses is matched to the GXPA16’s rear subframe, so ride height stays where you set it.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Gravel/Snow line was developed first for rally and rallycross use, not tarmac circuits, and the spec reflects that brief. Both the front and rear dampers get extended stroke length over the road-going Pro Racing kits, building in a larger buffer before the suspension runs out of travel on a big compression or landing. Internally, each unit carries a larger reservoir of damping oil and nitrogen gas than a standard road coilover, keeping oil temperature under control during sustained hard use rather than letting it climb and erode the shock’s consistency. Damping is set through three external knobs per corner, feeding oil through a deliberately small internal passage – on a rough stage or a heavily rutted surface that can produce a faint clicking or ticking from the damper, which is a normal side effect of the valving rather than a fault. The same construction that suits loose and snow-covered stages carries over fine to circuit use with kerbs and surface changes, so this is not a one-surface kit.

Fitment for the Toyota GR Yaris GXPA16 4WD (Modified Rr Integrated) (2024-2026)

This kit is built for the Toyota GR Yaris GXPA16, chassis code TO94, across the 2024 to 2026 model years, covering the permanent 4WD GR-FOUR drivetrain and the modified rear-integrated mounting revision specified for this fitment. Confirm your build matches the Modified Rr Integrated rear specification before ordering, as the standard rear mounting uses a different kit.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
