XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Toyota CAMRY XV10 (TYPE 2) 1992-1996

The XV10 Camry was engineered to isolate its occupants, not to talk to its driver – a wide, soft-sprung saloon carrying real weight over the front axle from its 5S-FE four or the larger V6. Fitting the XYZ Racing Circuit Master coilover to a 1992-1996 Camry is a deliberate act: this is the most committed kit in the range, built for owners turning a comfortable front-drive saloon into something that will hold a line on a circuit.

It is the top circuit-specification damper, not a fast-road halfway house. Where the factory setup leans on long suspension travel and float, the Circuit Master ties the body down so a heavy, nose-led car will actually load and trust its front tyres under sustained lap-time work.

What this coilover does for your 1992-1996 Toyota Camry

The XV10’s defining track weakness is roll and the slow, vague weight transfer that follows it. The Circuit Master attacks that directly: a stiffer, flatter platform keeps the front contact patches settled through long corners instead of washing into understeer. Independent ride-height adjustment lets you drop the centre of gravity and correct the Camry’s tall standard stance and its tendency to squat and dive, so braking feels firmer and turn-in sharper. With 9720 separate settings available you can keep a calmer baseline for the road and then add damping control for a circuit session without changing spring height. The result is a saloon that finally rotates predictably rather than ploughing on at the front.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the competition end of the XYZ Racing line, sharing its design approach with the brand’s Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally kits. XYZ developed and tested it through their own racing teams across international circuits over extended running, which is reflected in its adjustment range: 9720 possible combinations set through three adjustment knobs. Those knobs use a small oil-hole design, so over large bumps the damper oil is forced through a narrow passage and can give off a faint noise – this is expected behaviour, and a direct consequence of a damper valved for the smooth, consistent surfaces of a track rather than broken public roads. It is built for circuit use, where bump compliance is a secondary concern to control.
