For PASM-equipped cars specifically, the cancellation module included with this kit clears the dashboard of the fault codes the system would otherwise log once the original dampers are removed, leaving all other OBD functions intact.

Fitment for the Porsche 997 CARRERA-2/S (2005-2011)

This kit covers the 997 Carrera 2 and Carrera 2S, chassis code PO04-C, from 2005 to 2011 – spanning the pre-facelift naturally-aspirated cars through 2008 and the revised direct-injection models from 2009 onwards. The PASM cancellation hardware is required for this fitment and is included in the kit; the specification is not applicable to non-PASM 997 variants. The all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 and 4S fall outside this part number.
