XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-4/S CABRIOLET (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) 2019-2026

Drift setup on a 992 is a deliberate, slightly contrarian choice. The Carrera 4/S Cabriolet carries its flat-six out behind the rear axle and drives all four corners, so committing it to a held angle means managing the rear-mass pendulum rather than fighting it. This is the XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover built for exactly that job – settling the body the instant you load it and keeping the platform predictable when the tail steps out.

It is a circuit-oriented kit, not a comfort lowering. The brief is simple: lower the ride height with the right bump stroke, then give the driver enough damping authority to place this 2019-2026 Porsche 992 where they want it at speed and hold the line through transitions.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S Cabriolet

The Cabriolet body sheds the coupe’s roof bracing, so it leans harder on the suspension for torsional composure – this kit is where that control comes from. Drop the ride height and the 992’s centre of gravity comes down with it, calming the front-to-rear weight swing that a rear-engined car throws at you mid-corner. The three independent adjustment knobs let you separate low-speed body control from high-speed compliance, so you can firm up the platform for initiation without the rear hopping off line. On a 4WD Carrera 4/S, where rotation is harder to provoke, that adjustability is what makes a clean, sustained angle repeatable instead of accidental.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This is purpose-engineered for competitive drifting. The geometry is set so that, once the ride height and bump stroke are dialled in, the chassis stabilises through high-speed direction changes and holds a consistent angle rather than snapping between grip and slide. Adjustment runs through three knobs, each fed by a small oil-hole passage in the damper. That design has a known characteristic: over large bumps the oil is forced through the smaller passage and can produce a faint mechanical noise. It is normal behaviour and not a fault – the kit is built for the relatively smooth surfaces of a circuit, where it is not a concern. The result is a damper tuned for body control under load rather than ride softness.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 Carrera-4/S Cabriolet (2019-2026)

This kit fits the 992-generation Carrera 4/S Cabriolet (chassis PO27), covering the 2019 to 2026 build span. It is the variant specified for cars equipped with the factory front-axle hydraulic lift, excluding the lift control system. Confirm your car carries that hydraulic lift hardware before ordering.

Set your spring rates and ride height to suit your circuit and driving style, then configure yours below.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
