XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Nissan MARCH K13 TYPE1 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2010-2017

The K13 March’s short wheelbase and light kerb weight give it a darty, low-inertia response on tarmac – but that same lack of mass is a liability the moment the surface turns loose. XYZ Racing’s Gravel Rally coilover for the Nissan March K13 Type1 (Modified Rr Integrated) is built around that exact problem: a gravel-stage damper for a chassis with very little weight to soak up repeated hits from ruts, ridges and compression bumps.

This is the Gravel Rally spec, not a fast-road or circuit tune – it’s built for stages where the surface changes metre to metre and the suspension has to keep the tyre in contact with whatever is underneath it. On a car this light, that means long-travel damping that can absorb a full-bore compression without topping or bottoming out mid-corner.

What this coilover does for your 2010-2017 Nissan MARCH K13 TYPE1 (Modified Rr Integrated)

Fit this to the March and the long-stroke, long-spring layout gives the rear end – already reworked under this Modified Rr Integrated fitment – room to move without crashing through its travel on rutted gravel or forestry stages. The inverted-tube construction is there to keep the damper working consistently whether the surface underfoot is loose sandstone, hard-packed silt or snow, conditions that punish a standard road damper’s seals and internals fast. Because the March carries so little weight over each corner, damping consistency under lateral G matters more than outright spring rate: this setup is built to hold the tyre against the ground through a fast, rutted corner rather than skipping across the top of it. Chassis vibration that would otherwise telegraph straight into the shell and the driver’s hands gets absorbed at the damper instead, which matters over a stage measured in minutes, not seconds.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

XYZ Racing built the Gravel Rally line specifically for rally and rallycross use, where the surface is about as hostile as motorsport gets and the damper does more of the work than in any tarmac discipline. The defining feature is an inverted-tube design, aimed at coping with the full range of loose surfaces a stage can throw at a car – sandstone, snow, silt – without the internals losing consistency partway through a run. Stroke length and spring length are both extended over a road or circuit unit, which is what lets the damper soak up continuous chassis vibration and absorb hard, high-speed compressions from bouncy, rutted ground without running out of travel. That extra travel also has to cope with the extreme lateral loads a car generates turning into a gravel corner at speed, where the suspension is asked to control the car and cushion the impact at the same time. XYZ Racing sets the spring rates for this line using data from its own rally racing programme, rather than road-car defaults scaled up, so the rates reflect what has actually worked at competition pace on loose surfaces.

Fitment for the Nissan MARCH K13 TYPE1 (Modified Rr Integrated) (2010-2017)

This kit is built for the Nissan March K13 Type1, chassis code NI19-1, covering the 2010-2017 production run. It’s specified for the Modified Rr Integrated version of this chassis, so confirm your car matches that rear-end configuration before ordering, since the rear damper mounting differs from the standard K13 setup.

What buyers also search for

  • Nissan March K13 gravel rally suspension upgrade for stage and rallycross use.
  • Nissan March K13 Type1 coilover damping built for loose-surface, high-speed compressions.
  • Nissan March K13 rally coilover with inverted-tube construction for sandstone, silt and snow stages.
  • Nissan March K13 Modified Rr Integrated coilover kit matched to the reworked rear end.

Spec here is fixed to this exact fitment and use-case, so the main decision left is spring rate and mounting option for your build – configure yours below.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.
