XYZ Racing Pro Rally Coilovers — Mitsubishi LANCER FORTIS 2007-2017

Loose-surface competition asks for something the road-going Lancer Fortis was never built to deliver: long, controlled wheel travel and damping that can take a beating from gravel and packed snow rather than a smooth B-road. The XYZ Racing Pro Rally coilover is built for exactly that on the MT30 Fortis – the front-driven, Taiwan-market saloon that shares its GS-generation platform and shark-nose front with the Evo X, but carries the regular car’s MIVEC four-cylinder and front-wheel-drive layout rather than the Evo’s four-wheel-drive hardware.

This is a top-flight rally setup, not a fast-road kit pressed into stage duty. It is engineered for the demands of gravel and snow events, where a front-drive Fortis lives or dies on how well the dampers manage rebound over ruts and crests while the driven front axle scrabbles for grip.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2017 Mitsubishi Lancer Fortis

On a front-heavy Lancer Fortis, the rear end has to be persuaded to rotate while the front axle keeps putting power down on a surface that keeps moving. The Pro Rally’s competition-grade damping gives you the rebound control to keep all four tyres tracking the ground over broken gravel, instead of skipping and washing the nose wide. You get the suspension travel a stage car needs to soak up compressions without bottoming, and a more planted platform under braking into loose hairpins. The result is a car you can lean on over the rough stuff with far more confidence than a road damper would ever allow.

About the Pro Rally coilover

The Pro Rally is XYZ Racing’s gravel and snow competition suspension – a genuine stage weapon rather than a height-adjustable road kit. It is offered in two distinct configurations depending on how far you are taking the car. The first is an amateur-level setup designed to bolt straight to the original Lancer Fortis chassis, so a privateer can run a competitive loose-surface car without cutting metal. The second is a professional-level build intended to be fitted after the bodyshell itself has been modified, freeing up the extra travel and mounting geometry a fully prepared rally car demands. Both share the long-travel, heavy-duty damping philosophy that defines a purpose-made gravel coilover.

Fitment for the Mitsubishi Lancer Fortis (2007-2017)

This kit is built specifically for the MT30 Mitsubishi Lancer Fortis across the full 2007-2017 production run. Note that this is the front-wheel-drive Fortis saloon, distinct from the four-wheel-drive Lancer Evolution X that shares its styling – confirm your chassis code before ordering.
