The Lancer Fortis’s front-wheel drive layout asks a lot of a circuit suspension: the front axle must manage braking load, steering input, and traction demand simultaneously, all while the rear end follows wherever the geometry dictates. On the MT30 platform, the standard damper calibration leaves usable lap time on the table – body roll builds gradually through long corners, and the natural mid-speed understeer the geometry produces is difficult to manage consistently under repeated braking.
XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master coilover kit was developed for sustained circuit work, drawing on data gathered across XYZ’s own competition programme at international venues. On a car where the front axle dictates nearly everything about how quickly you can carry speed through a corner – and how much confidence you have doing it – the level of adjustment this kit provides changes the conversation.
What this coilover does for your 2007-2017 Mitsubishi LANCER FORTIS
The headline here is granularity: 9,720 distinct adjustment combinations across three independent control knobs mean high-speed and low-speed damper behaviour can be tuned separately, without each change affecting the other. For the Fortis, this matters in practical terms. Stiffen the high-speed compression to contain body roll through fast kinks and you do not have to sacrifice the low-speed compliance that keeps the front tyres loaded during slow trail-braking entries. The overall ride height drop firms up the roll centres and reduces the standard geometry’s tendency toward understeer – you get a front end that turns in, rather than pushes wide.
About the Circuit Master coilover
The Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s coilover range, developed alongside Racing Spec, Drift Spec, and Tarmac Rally variants through real competition use at international circuit venues. The defining technical feature is its three-knob adjustment architecture: rather than a single combined dial, each knob governs a distinct aspect of damper behaviour, giving 9,720 possible combinations across the adjustment matrix. The internal oil passage uses a small-hole design – a deliberate engineering choice. Under large, rapid suspension inputs on circuit, oil moves through a restricted channel, which may produce a faint noise during hard use. This is the system working as intended on a circuit-calibrated product; there is no concern for tracks where bumps are the exception rather than the rule. This coilover is not rated for general road comfort, nor is it presented as such.
Fitment for the Mitsubishi LANCER FORTIS (2007-2017)
This kit is built for the Mitsubishi Lancer Fortis across the MT30 chassis, covering the full model run from 2007 to 2017. Confirm your chassis code before ordering – the Lancer Fortis shares platform architecture with other regional Lancer variants, and spring perch and strut dimensions vary across specifications within the model family.

Configure your Circuit Master specification below.
Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
Top mounts included with your kit
Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.
Pillow ball + rubberP+Pillow-ball upper with a rubber insert — adds steering precision and camber adjustability while keeping some of the factory mount’s harshness damping.
Hardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.
OE (factory) mountOERetains the OEM (factory) upper mount — preserves the original ride comfort, noise and vibration behaviour for a stock-like feel.
