XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz E CLASS COUPE C207 8 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2009-2017

The C207 E-Class Coupe’s V8 cars left the factory riding on electronically controlled damping, tuned for a two-door grand tourer rather than a car sliding sideways through a hairpin. That electronic system fights a drift setup at every input, so this Pro Racing Drift Spec kit ships as a cancellation package: it removes the factory adaptive damping electronics from the equation entirely and replaces them with mechanical, manually adjustable coilovers built for competitive drifting.

With a V8 sat over the front axle, the C207 carries more weight up front than the four- and six-cylinder E-Class coupes, and that mass transfer needs to be managed the moment the car is turned in and the throttle goes down. This kit is built around that reality rather than a generic ride-height drop.

What this coilover does for your 2009-2017 Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe C207

Drop the ride height correctly and dial in the bump stroke, and the difference in how the car settles into an angle is immediate – this is the specific setup XYZ Racing built the kit to deliver, and it is where the V8 coupe’s extra front weight stops fighting you and starts working for you. The 3-knob adjustment on each corner lets you separate compression and rebound behaviour, so you can stabilise the body through fast direction changes without losing the ability to hold and correct an angle. Because the electronic damping is cancelled rather than left half-active in the background, there is no ECU fighting the mechanical valving underneath you – what you set at the knob is what the car actually does. For a heavy V8 coupe, that consistency at the rear axle is what turns a wide, sloppy angle into a controlled one.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This is a drift-specific design, not a repurposed circuit or fast-road coilover. The valving and spring rates are set up to stabilise the body through high-speed turn-in so the car settles into a clean, controllable angle rather than snapping or wallowing. Each corner uses 3 external adjustment knobs, and the internal oil path runs through a deliberately small-hole design – a trade-off that improves low-speed control but can produce a faint noise over sharp bumps, which is a normal characteristic of this valving rather than a fault. XYZ Racing built the kit around circuit-track surfaces specifically, so kerb strikes and mid-corner bumps are accounted for in how the damping responds rather than treated as an afterthought.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe C207 (2009-2017)

This kit is specified for the C207-chassis E-Class Coupe, 8-cylinder variants, built between 2009 and 2017, and includes the cancellation hardware needed to remove the factory electronic damping system before the mechanical coilovers go in. Confirm your car uses the factory electronic/adaptive damping setup before ordering, as this cancellation kit is built specifically to replace it.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
