XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz E CLASS COUPE C207 4 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2009-2017

The C207 E-Class Coupe carries a long wheelbase and a rear-biased weight distribution that most drift builds have to fight rather than use – get the setup wrong and the car either refuses to rotate cleanly or steps out further than the driver can catch. Add in the factory electronic damping fitted to most 4-cylinder C207s from the factory, and running a proper drift setup means replacing that system outright rather than working around it.

XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover for the Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe is built for exactly that job. This is the cancellation-kit version, which fully removes the factory electronic damping control so the coupe can run a straightforward mechanical setup tuned for sustained, high-angle slides rather than a fast circuit lap.

What this coilover does for your 2009-2017 Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe

Dropping ride height correctly and setting bump stroke to suit changes how this coupe behaves the moment the rear steps out. Instead of the body rolling and wallowing under its own weight mid-transition, the chassis stays stable through the entry, so the car holds an extended angle rather than snapping into an uncontrolled spin. With the electronic damping variability gone, the response through the suspension becomes fixed and mechanical – what you feel on Monday’s practice session is what you feel in Saturday’s competition run. That consistency matters more on a car this size and weight than it does on something smaller, because the E-Class Coupe has more mass to manage once it’s sideways.

About the Drift Spec coilover

This is a dedicated drift damper tune, not a track or fast-road compromise carried over from another line. The valving is set up specifically to keep the car’s body stable through fast, high-angle direction changes, so the coupe holds its line at the drift angle instead of stepping further round than intended. Once ride height is lowered and bump stroke is set correctly for the car, the difference in how controllable the slide feels is immediate – the platform stops fighting the driver and starts doing what it’s asked. It’s built around the demands of competitive drifting specifically: sustained angle, repeated transitions, and a chassis that needs to behave the same way every time it’s loaded up.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe (2009-2017)

Confirmed for the C207-generation E-Class Coupe, 4-cylinder models, chassis code ME15-C, built between 2009 and 2017. This is the cancellation-kit variant, intended specifically for cars that left the factory with electronic adaptive damping – the kit replaces that system so the Drift Spec coilover can run as a full mechanical setup rather than alongside the original electronics.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
