XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz C CLASS W204 4 CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) 2007-2014

The W204 C-Class’s rear-wheel-drive layout and the lighter nose of the 4-cylinder cars change how the back end lets go compared with the six-cylinder versions in the same range, and that shift in balance is exactly what the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around. On a rear-integrated Modified Rr chassis, ME05-1, the geometry at the back has already been altered for sustained slip angle, and the coilover has to work with that change rather than fight it.

This is XYZ Racing’s dedicated drift kit for the W204, tuned to hold the car’s attitude through a controlled slide rather than resist it. Ride height drops to a working range that keeps the rear tyre loaded through big steering angles, and the damping is set up for repeated transitions rather than a single hot lap.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2014 Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204 4 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated)

Drop the ride height correctly on this kit and the C-Class carries less body roll onto the outside rear tyre mid-slide, which is where a stock W204 loses angle before it loses grip. The kit’s three external adjustment knobs let you set ride height and damping characteristics independently, so you can soften the front for a sharper initiation and firm up the rear to hold the slide once it’s committed. Because this Modified Rr Integrated spec pairs with a rear end that’s already been reworked for drift geometry, the coilover’s bump stroke is matched to that setup rather than a stock W204 rear, which keeps things predictable when you’re crossed up over kerbs or transitioning between corners. The result is a car that settles into an angle instead of snapping, and one that’s easier to catch and hold through the second and third transition of a run, not just the first.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec range specifically for drift competition, not as a dual-purpose road-and-track compromise. The internal architecture is tuned to keep the car’s body stable through high-speed, high-angle turns, which is what lets a driver hold a clean, consistent line rather than fight the chassis for it. Set the ride height correctly and match the bump stroke to your setup and the improvement in controllability through a slide is obvious compared with a stock or generic lowering kit. Damping and height are adjusted through three external knobs feeding oil through a deliberately small internal passage; on rough sections of track that can produce a faint noise as oil moves through that passage, which is a normal characteristic of the design rather than a fault. XYZ Racing developed this coilover for circuit and drift-track surfaces specifically, so the occasional bump on a track isn’t something the kit is troubled by. On the C-Class W204, that translates into a 2007-2014 Mercedes Benz platform that can be set up to slide predictably session after session rather than degrade as the knobs get used.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204 4 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated) (2007-2014)

This kit is built for the Mercedes Benz C-Class W204, chassis code ME05-1, across the 2007 to 2014 model years fitted with the 4-cylinder engine. It’s specified for the Modified Rr Integrated rear setup, so confirm your car has that rear-end configuration before ordering rather than the standard W204 rear end.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
