XYZ Racing Pro Rally Coilovers — Hyundai VELOSTER 2011-2017

The first-generation Veloster’s front-driven FS chassis was never built with a loose surface in mind, which is exactly why a dedicated rally coilover changes what the car can do. The XYZ Racing Pro Rally coilover for the Hyundai Veloster (2011-2017) is built for top-flight rally competition, where ride height, wheel travel and damping have to cope with gravel and snow that a road car never sees.

This is not a lowered fast-road kit pressed into competition service. It is a rally-specific setup offered in two fitment philosophies: one that installs directly onto the standard Veloster bodyshell, and one intended for cars whose body has already been modified for stage use. Which route you take depends on how far your build has gone.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2017 Hyundai Veloster

The Veloster carries its weight over the front axle, so on a slippery surface the limiting factor is how the front struts manage compression and rebound when the car is loaded mid-corner or landing off a crest. This coilover gives you the longer, more controlled travel that gravel and snow demand, keeping the contact patch planted where a road damper would simply run out of stroke. Ride height comes up rather than down, protecting the underside and feeding the front tyres on broken ground. The result is a Veloster you can lean on through ruts and over jumps without the chassis snapping out of shape on the exit.

About the Pro Rally coilover

The Pro Rally is XYZ Racing’s gravel and snow competition suspension, a far more specialised piece of kit than the brand’s tarmac coilovers. It is supplied in two configurations to suit different stages of preparation. The amateur, or direct-fit, version mounts to the original Veloster chassis with no bodywork changes, making it the sensible entry point for a clubman car. The professional version is designed to be fitted after the body has been modified for competition, freeing up the geometry and travel that a fully built rally car needs. Both share the rally-bias damping and raised ride-height intent that separate this kit from anything aimed at the road. Confirm which configuration matches your car before you order, because the two are not interchangeable once the body work is done.

Fitment for the Hyundai Veloster (2011-2017)

This kit is built for the first-generation Hyundai Veloster, chassis code HY27, covering model years 2011 through 2017. The two-version structure means you should match the amateur or professional configuration to whether your Veloster retains its standard bodyshell or has been modified for stage use.
