XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Hyundai GENESIS COUPE BK 2.0T 2008-2010

The Genesis Coupe BK’s 2.0T runs the lighter turbocharged four up front rather than the 3.8 V6, which hands a drift driver a more neutral starting balance and less mass to manage on initiation. What it lacks from the factory is damping control: the standard struts let the body wallow and the rear squat, blurring the moment of transition. The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover exists to remove that vagueness.

This is a competition drift setup, not a fast-road compromise. Its job is to lower the BK, set a useable bump stroke, and keep the chassis composed mid-slide so you hold and adjust angle on command rather than reacting to a car that moves on its own.

What this coilover does for your 2008-2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T

Lowered onto the Pro Racing Drift Spec kit, your 2008-2010 Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T sits with the body settled and the weight transfer made deliberate instead of lazy. The firmer, controlled valving stabilises the body through high-speed turn-in, so the rear steps out cleanly and predictably when you ask for it. Three adjustment knobs let you tune the damping to your track and entry speed, sharpening response without making the car nervous. With a proper bump stroke set against the lowered ride height, you get the consistent rear grip and angle control that separate a held, committed slide from a snap. The car answers steering and throttle the instant you load it.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec is engineered for one job: competitive drifting. Its valving is tuned to stabilise the body during high-speed cornering so the car holds a clean, repeatable angle, and the setup is built to enhance drift behaviour once the ride height comes down and a sensible bump stroke is established. Adjustment runs through three knobs, giving separate control over the damping so you can match the kit to circuit layout and surface. The dampers use a small oil-hole design in their passages, which is what delivers the fine control at the wheel. Run hard over larger kerbs or bumps and that small passage can produce a faint noise as the oil moves through it – this is normal behaviour, not a fault. The kit is intended for circuit and track use, where surface bumps are part of the job rather than a concern.

Fitment for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T (2008-2010)

This kit is built specifically for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T – chassis code HY08 – across the 2008 to 2010 model years. It is matched to the 2.0T turbocharged variant rather than the V6 cars, so check that your Genesis Coupe runs the 2.0T engine and falls within this year span before you configure your spec.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
