XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Hyundai GENESIS COUPE BK 2.0T 2011-2014

The Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T gave the drift world something it had been short of: an affordable, rear-drive, turbocharged coupe that did not need an S-chassis budget to run. Its long wheelbase and lighter turbo-four nose, set against the heavier 3.8 V6 R-Spec, make it a forgiving platform to learn angle on and a stable one to hold it. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around exactly that job.

This is not a fast-road kit asked to moonlight on track. It is a competition drift setup, designed to keep the body settled through high-speed transitions so you can place the car where you want it and keep it there. Lower the ride height, set the bump stroke, and the Genesis Coupe starts answering inputs the way a drift chassis should.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T

On corner entry the Pro Racing Drift Spec holds the body flat enough to keep the rear loaded and predictable, which is what lets you commit to a bigger initiation without the back snapping away from you. The three independent adjustment knobs let you separate the way the car takes a kerb from the way it settles mid-slide, so the front bites on turn-in while the rear stays planted. Drop the ride height and the centre of gravity comes with it, sharpening transitions between left and right. On a circuit surface, where this kit is happiest, that adds up to a Genesis Coupe that goes where your hands and right foot send it, holding its composure through a full competition run without the damping fading off.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec for one discipline: competitive drifting. The design goal is body stability under high-speed cornering, the trait that lets a driver pin a consistent angle rather than chase the car through a slide. Three adjustment knobs give you separate control over the damping behaviour, and the kit comes alive once the ride height is lowered and the bump stroke is set to suit. One quirk worth knowing: the dampers use a small-orifice oil passage, so over large bumps you may hear a faint sound as oil moves through the restriction. That is the valving doing its job, not a fault. It is engineered for circuit surfaces, where the bumps are predictable and the kit can be run at its intended stiffness.

Fitment for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T (2011-2014)

This kit is cut for the BK-generation Genesis Coupe in 2.0T turbo form, chassis code HY10, covering the 2011 to 2014 model years. It suits the rear-drive four-cylinder car specifically. Confirm your chassis code and build year against the listing before ordering.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
