XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Honda CIVIC ES1/2/3/ET2 2000-2005

The seventh-generation Civic ES saloon broke with Honda tradition the moment it left the factory: out went the double-wishbone front end that defined the EK, in came a MacPherson strut layout chosen for cabin packaging over outright camber control. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover set exists to claw back the front-end discipline that switch gave away, holding the HN21 chassis flat and predictable when you load it hard into a corner.

Pitched at competitive drift and circuit use, this kit trades plushness for body control. It is a stiff, deliberately aggressive setup built to keep the Civic’s body settled through fast, high-angle direction changes, so the car takes and holds an attitude rather than rolling onto its outside edge.

What these coilovers do for your 2000-2005 Honda Civic ES1/2/3/ET2

Drop the ride height and the ES saloon’s centre of gravity falls with it, sharpening turn-in and cutting the nose-up squat this front-drive platform shows under power. The three adjustment knobs let you set damping to suit the surface, firming things up for smooth circuit tarmac or backing off when the track is broken. With ride height set against a proper bump stroke, you keep usable suspension travel instead of crashing into the stops, so the front tyres stay loaded through long, committed corners. The result is a Civic keyed to your inputs: flatter through transitions, more stable at speed, and far harder to upset mid-bend.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec line specifically around drift competition, where the priority is keeping the body stable through fast, high-angle corners so the driver can set and hold a clean line. Three independent adjustment knobs handle the damping, and the design pairs a lowered ride height with a measured bump stroke to put the controlling response exactly where a drifter wants it. The dampers run a deliberately small oil passage; drive over a sharp bump and the oil forced through that restriction can produce a faint noise, which is normal behaviour for this valving rather than a fault. That trade-off is intentional – this is a setup engineered for circuit tarmac, where the surface is smooth and the firm, talkative response works in your favour.

Fitment for the Honda Civic ES1/2/3/ET2 (2000-2005)

This kit is cut for the seventh-generation Honda Civic ES1/2/3/ET2, chassis code HN21, covering the 2000 to 2005 model years. Those codes span the saloon bodyshell, so confirm your car carries the ES or ET designation before ordering. Fitment is specific to this front strut platform.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
