XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW X3 F25 4WD 2010-2017

A tall, heavy 4WD crossover is not the obvious drift platform, but the F25 X3’s permanent all-wheel-drive system and high centre of gravity make body control the entire battle once you start putting it sideways. The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around that problem specifically: stabilising the body through fast, high-angle transitions so the car holds its line instead of wallowing on its own weight transfer.

This is a circuit-drift setup, not a fast-road comfort kit. The X3 F25 sits well above hatchback ride height from the factory, and getting it down to a controllable, angle-friendly stance changes how the AWD system and the tall body interact under load, which is where this coilover earns its keep.

What this coilover does for your 2010-2017 Bmw X3

Drop the ride height correctly with the proper bump stroke set up and the F25’s high-riding stance stops working against you mid-slide. The 3-way adjustment knobs let you retune compression and rebound as your line, tyre choice, or track surface changes between sessions, rather than living with one compromise setting all day. Because the internals route oil through a deliberately small passage design, damping response stays consistent through the repeated, aggressive direction changes drift driving demands of a heavy AWD chassis. Expect some minor oil noise over larger bumps and kerbs; that is a function of the small-passage design doing its job, not a fault, and it is a fair trade for the control this setup gives you when you are holding an X3 sideways at speed.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This coilover is built specifically for drift competition rather than adapted from a track or fast-road platform. The design focuses on keeping the car’s body stable through high-speed, high-angle cornering, so the driver can hold a clean, consistent angle instead of fighting body roll and weight transfer mid-slide. Once ride height is lowered with the correct bump stroke set for the vehicle, the difference in how the car responds to steering and throttle input through a slide becomes obvious. The 3 adjustment knobs use a small oil-hole design internally; this is what gives the damping its drift-specific character, though it does mean some minor noise is normal when the car runs over bumps, since the oil is moving through a narrower passage than a standard road setup. The unit is built for circuit track use, where surface bumps are expected and accounted for in the design rather than treated as a problem.

Fitment for the Bmw X3 F25 4WD (2010-2017)

Fits the Bmw X3 F25, chassis code BM79, across the 2010 to 2017 production run, specifically the permanent 4WD variant. Confirm your build year and drivetrain configuration against these figures before ordering, since the F25 spans multiple engine and trim options across this period.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
