XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 6 SERIES F06 2011-2018

The F06 6 Series Gran Coupé is a 1,900kg four-door GT riding on a long F10-derived wheelbase, and that mass is precisely the problem when you start putting it on circuit. The standard adaptive dampers were calibrated for autobahn composure, not for hauling a 650i back into a third-gear right-hander on its sixth flying lap, and the body roll, mid-corner float and brake-induced nose-dive all show up by the end of the first session. The Circuit Master coilover is the answer for owners running the F06 as a serious lapping car.

This is XYZ Racing’s competition-tier damper, the same platform deployed under their Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally builds. On a chassis this heavy, the breadth of adjustment matters more than any single setting – and the Circuit Master gives you a 9720-way matrix to work with.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2018 Bmw 6 Series F06

The F06’s weight transfer is the first thing the Circuit Master gets a grip of. With three separate adjustment knobs governing the damping curve, you can stiffen rebound to control the nose lift coming off the brakes without ruining low-speed compliance over the kerbs at Druids or the Foggy Esses. The 9720 distinct adjustment combinations mean you genuinely can find a window for Brands Hatch Indy that doesn’t transfer to Donington’s faster sweepers – and then change it again. Ride height is fully adjustable so you can drop the centre of gravity to claw back some of the roll-couple the standard 6 Series fights against. Expect sharper turn-in, far less mid-corner pitch, and a brake pedal that no longer dives the bonnet at the chassis.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master is built around a three-knob damper design that splits high-speed compression, low-speed compression and rebound into independently adjustable circuits, which is what produces the 9720 combinations XYZ Racing quote. It has been developed and tested by XYZ race teams on international circuits, with long-duration validation on tarmac rather than short product-development cycles – the kind of testing where weaknesses surface at hour four, not lap four. One characteristic to be aware of: the small oil-passage geometry that gives the damper its precision on smooth surfaces produces a faint hydraulic noise when the coilover is driven hard over large road bumps. XYZ document this as normal behaviour. The product is engineered for circuit surfaces, where bump compliance over broken tarmac is not the design priority.

Fitment for the Bmw 6 Series (2011-2018)

This kit is built specifically for the F06 chassis 6 Series Gran Coupé, covering model years 2011 through 2018. The damper bodies, spring perches and mounting hardware are dimensioned for the F06’s strut tops, subframe mounts and ride-height geometry – not shared with the F12 or F13 two-door variants. Confirm your chassis code reads F06 before ordering.
