XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 2 SERIES G87 M2 (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2023-2026

The G87 M2 leaves the factory running BMW’s adaptive M suspension, an electronically controlled damper system that reports constantly to the car’s control modules and throws fault codes the moment it stops seeing the signal it expects. Fitting a manual coilover to this chassis is therefore an electronics job as much as a suspension job, and this Circuit Master kit is built around that reality: the rear-integrated cancellation kit for electronic damping removes the OE EDC wiring dependency so the car runs clean with a fixed, non-electronic damper in place.

Circuit Master is XYZ Racing’s dedicated track-lap platform, not a fast-road compromise. On an S58-powered, rear-driven M2 built for sustained circuit sessions, that means damping and ride height that hold a setting through repeated hard laps rather than drifting session to session, with the cancellation hardware sorted so the car’s ECU stays quiet about it.

What this coilover does for your 2023-2026 BMW 2 Series G87 M2

With the OE adaptive dampers cancelled and this kit in their place, the G87 M2 gets a damper you set once for the circuit and leave there, rather than one negotiating between comfort and sport maps through a control unit. Independently adjustable ride height lets you drop the centre of gravity and correct the corner-weight balance that a heavy, turbocharged straight-six front end imposes on this chassis, sharpening turn-in without pushing the front axle wide mid-corner. The 9720-way damping range gives enough granularity to separate compression and rebound behaviour front to rear, useful on the M2 where the rear axle needs to stay planted under the S58’s torque coming off slow corners. Because the cancellation kit is integrated at the rear, there’s no dash warning or limp-mode suspension response to work around once it’s fitted – the car simply runs the coilover as its suspension, full stop.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s range, developed and run by XYZ’s own racing teams across international circuits before being sold as a road-legal product. Each unit carries 9720 individual damping combinations, controlled through three external adjustment knobs rather than a single dial, so compression and rebound can be tuned independently front and rear instead of moving together. The knobs feed small-bore oil passages by design – a deliberate construction choice for consistent damping response over a wide adjustment range rather than a fault, though it can produce minor noise over sharp bumps, which is expected and not a defect on a kit built for smooth circuit tarmac rather than broken B-roads. The monotube-style internals and rear-integrated electronic damping cancellation kit are specified together for this G87 M2 fitment, so the damper and the electronics workaround are matched as one system rather than bolted together as an afterthought.

Fitment for the Bmw 2 Series G87 M2 (2023-2026)

This kit is specified for the BMW 2 Series G87 M2, chassis code BM128-1-C, covering the 2023 to 2026 model years with the modified rear-integrated, electronic-damping-cancellation configuration. Confirm your car carries the factory adaptive M suspension before ordering, since the cancellation kit is built specifically to replace that system rather than a standard passive setup.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
