XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 2 SERIES F22 (M235i) (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2014-2026

The F22 M235i’s short wheelbase and rear-wheel-drive layout already lean toward oversteer before you touch the suspension. Add the N55’s torque and the car breaks traction with very little provocation – which is exactly why it has become a popular drift platform. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover is built around that behaviour rather than against it, giving you the ride height, body control and adjustment range that competitive drifting actually demands.

This isn’t a fast-road or track-day setup dressed up with a new name. It is tuned specifically to hold the M235i’s body composed through sustained slip angle, so the car stays predictable as you transition from entry to full opposite lock rather than snapping or wallowing mid-drift.

What this coilover does for your 2014-2026 BMW 2 Series F22 (M235i)

Drop the ride height correctly with this kit and the F22’s roll centre and weight transfer characteristics change in your favour: less body roll feeding into the rear axle under transition, and a more consistent contact patch as the car rotates. The extended bump stroke lets you run an aggressive, low stance without the suspension topping or bottoming out mid-drift, which is where a lot of cheaper drift setups fall apart under repeated runs. Because this application is the cancellation-kit variant, it also replaces the M235i’s factory electronic damping control with fixed mechanical damping tuned for drift use, so damper behaviour stays consistent run after run instead of being managed by a system built for road comfort. The net result on your 2 Series F22 is a car that holds an angle rather than fighting to find one, with the rear staying settled long enough for you to correct and reset.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing designed the Drift Spec line specifically for drift racing rather than adapting a circuit or fast-road platform. Its construction focuses on stabilising the vehicle body through high-speed turn-in, so the car settles into a clean, controllable angle instead of pitching or stepping out unpredictably. A generous bump stroke is central to the design: once the ride height is lowered correctly, the extra travel is what keeps the car planted and lets you control the drift rather than react to it. It’s built as a dedicated tool for one discipline – competitive drifting – rather than a compromise setup asked to do everything.

Fitment for the BMW 2 Series F22 (M235i) (2014-2026)

Confirmed for the BMW 2 Series F22 (M235i), chassis code M235I, across the 2014-2026 production run. This listing is the modified rear-integrated variant with the cancellation kit for electronic damping, built for M235i models fitted with factory electronic damper control – the kit bypasses that system and integrates the Drift Spec dampers through a revised rear mounting arrangement.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
