Caliper kit = 2 calipers, 2 discs, braided lines and brackets. Carbon-ceramic rotors come with their own matched carbon-ceramic pads from the factory. Caliper colour and drilled/slotted discs are chosen on the kit page. Prices include VAT.
On a Skoda Rapid it is the brakes, not the engine, that set the pace on a long descent. An iron disc soaks up heat, expands, and the pedal goes long just when you want it most. A carbon-ceramic rotor runs happily at temperatures that would be glowing iron, so the bite on the last hairpin is the same as the first.
A 421mm carbon-ceramic rotor is roughly half the weight of the iron equivalent, which takes around 20 kg of spinning, unsprung mass off the car and shows up in turn-in and over broken surfaces. Carbon-ceramic does not rust, barely dusts, and a set will typically see out several sets of pads and outlast iron many times over.
The calipers underneath are XYZ Racing Hollow 8-pots: twin-metal pistons rated to 1000°C that keep heat away from the seals, a stiff bridge, and a floating two-piece rotor on an aluminium bell so the disc can grow with heat without distorting. Front and rear are built together to the chassis number, so the brake balance stays as the manufacturer set it, with more capacity at both ends.
