XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Volkswagen PASSAT B7 SEDAN 3C 4WD φ55 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2010-2015

The Passat B7 3C’s factory adaptive damping is calibrated for motorway comfort, not for holding a slide at the limit of grip – which is exactly the ground this cancellation kit is built to give up. Swapping the electronic dampers for the XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover strips that compromise out and hands full mechanical control back to the driver, front and rear.

On a 4WD Passat B7 saloon that matters more than it would on a front-driver: with drive going to all four corners, weight transfer under power and through the transition into oversteer needs a chassis reacting predictably, not one hunting between damping modes mid-manoeuvre. This coilover is built around that brief – stabilising the body through fast, committed direction changes so the car holds its angle rather than fighting you for it.

What this coilover does for your 2010-2015 Volkswagen Passat B7 Sedan

Removing the DCC electronics and fitting a fixed mechanical coilover on the Passat B7 4Motion takes the guesswork out of body control during transition. Lowering the ride height with the correct bump stroke settles weight into the chassis rather than letting the old system hunt between comfort and sport calibrations at the wrong moment. The 3 external adjustment knobs let you set compression and rebound to suit a given surface or drift line yourself, rather than relying on a factory algorithm reading wheel speed sensors. Because the platform is heavy and sends drive to all four wheels, predictable spring and damping response at the front is what lets you initiate a slide on your terms and then hold it, instead of the nose pushing wide first. It is a setup meant to be adjusted between sessions, not left on an automatic setting.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec line specifically around competition drifting rather than fast-road comfort. The valving is tuned to keep the body settled through fast, high-speed direction changes, so the car sets into a clean angle instead of wallowing as weight shifts. Ride height comes down with a bump stroke calculated for that lowered position, which is what lets the chassis hold a controlled slide rather than bottoming out mid-corner. Damping adjustment runs through 3 external knobs, built around a small-oil-hole internal design that gives a fine, granular range rather than a handful of coarse steps. One side effect of that small-passage design: over sharp bumps you may hear a faint noise as oil moves through the restricted channel – that is normal and not a fault. Because the intended surface is a circuit track rather than a pockmarked B-road, ride quality over rough tarmac is not what this kit is optimised for.

Fitment for the Volkswagen Passat B7 Sedan (2010-2015)

This kit is built for the Passat B7 saloon, chassis code VO34-2-C, 4WD (4Motion) models produced between 2010 and 2015 that left the factory with electronic adaptive damping. The supplied cancellation kit replaces the DCC electronics so the mechanical coilover fits in place of the original dampers without an inactive electronic system left in the loop. Confirm your car is the 3C saloon body in 4WD form, with φ55 strut diameter, before ordering.

If your Passat B7 is running the factory DCC system and you want it out of the loop entirely, this is the kit that does it – pick your spec below and build yours.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
