Stroke length and spring length are both extended over a road-spec coilover, giving the damper room to absorb chassis vibration and to soak up high-speed compressions without topping or bottoming out mid-stage. That extra travel is also what lets the suspension bear the cornering G-force a rally car generates without the geometry collapsing. Every spring rate offered in this range has been set by XYZ Racing’s own rally team during actual competition, not calculated on a bench, so the rates on offer reflect what has actually worked under stage conditions.
