XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — Nissan SKYLINE V35 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2003-2006

The V35 Skyline carries its VQ35DE mass well forward of the independent multi-link rear end, and that nose-heavy split works against you the instant you’re staged and waiting for the tree. XYZ Racing’s Drag Racing coilover is built specifically to fight that layout, shifting static and dynamic weight rearward so launch force lands on the driven tyres instead of disappearing into wheelspin.

Fitted to the 2003-2006 Nissan SKYLINE V35 (Modified Rr Integrated), this coilover is set up around 0-400m straight-line work rather than circuit lap times. The same weight-transfer principle applies whether the donor platform is FWD, RWD or 4WD, and here it’s calibrated to the V35’s rear-drive layout and the reinforced rear subframe mounting this fitment specifies.

What this coilover does for your 2003-2006 Nissan SKYLINE V35 (modified Rr Integrated)

Off the line, the setup transfers more of the car’s weight onto the rear contact patch than a standard-height Skyline spring and damper combination allows, so the drive tyres see meaningfully greater compression the moment power goes down. That compression shortens the tyre’s idle time – the gap between throttle input and the tyre actually converting torque into forward motion – which is where most street-tuned Skylines lose their 60-foot times to wheelspin. Once the car is moving, the same geometry keeps the rear planted through the run instead of letting the chassis squat and wander at speed. For a V35 running regular drag passes, that translates into a more consistent, repeatable launch rather than a lottery every time you stage.

About the Drag Racing coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drag Racing range around one job: 0-400m acceleration runs, not cornering load. The core idea is deliberately simple – let the front and rear weight distribution shift the instant the driven wheels start putting power down, rather than holding a fixed ride height and spring rate tuned for cornering balance. That shift forces extra compression into the driven tyre’s contact patch, cutting the idle time before grip is fully realised and keeping the car stable as speed builds down the strip. It’s the same logic used across FWD, RWD and 4WD applications in the range, adapted here to the V35 Skyline’s rear-drive architecture rather than a front-drive or all-wheel-drive platform.

Fitment for the Nissan SKYLINE V35 (modified Rr Integrated) (2003-2006)

This kit is specified for the Nissan SKYLINE V35 chassis code NI44, covering the 2003-2006 model years, and is built around the Modified Rr Integrated rear-end spec. Confirm your car matches this rear subframe configuration before ordering, as the V35 range spans more than one rear-end variant across its production run.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.
