XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz E CLASS COUPE C207 6 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2009-2017

The C207 E-Class Coupe’s six-cylinder cars came from the factory with electronic damping, which is exactly what stands between most E-Class owners and a proper manual coilover install. This Circuit Master kit includes the cancellation solution for that system, so the car’s factory ECU stops expecting a signal that no longer exists once adjustable dampers are fitted. For a big, heavy coupe that was never originally set up for sustained lap work, that’s the piece that makes serious circuit use possible at all.

Circuit Master is XYZ Racing’s dedicated circuit-day platform, and on a car with the C207’s mass and length, that matters more than on something smaller and lighter. This is the six-cylinder E-Class Coupe fitted for repeated hot laps, not a ride-height adjustment for the school run.

What this coilover does for your 2009-2017 Mercedes Benz E CLASS COUPE

A big coupe carrying six-cylinder weight over the front axle needs body control that a factory damper – electronic or not – was never tuned to deliver at circuit pace. Circuit Master’s 3-knob, 9720-way adjustment range lets you set compression and rebound independently front and rear, so you can firm up support under trail-braking into a corner without turning the car harsh on the way out of the pit lane. Monotube-style construction keeps oil temperatures more consistent across a full lap session than the factory unit, which matters when a heavy six-cylinder E-Class is asking a lot of its dampers lap after lap on track. Lowering the ride height also drops the centre of gravity on a car that carries plenty of it, cutting the body roll that a factory-height C207 shows through fast direction changes. With the electronic damping cancellation kit fitted alongside, none of that adjustability gets undone by an ECU still hunting for a sensor signal that’s no longer there.

About the Circuit Master coilover

XYZ Racing built Circuit Master as its top-tier circuit damper, developed and run by XYZ’s own racing teams across international events rather than designed purely on a bench. The headline figure is 9720 combinations across the 3 external adjustment knobs, giving a genuinely wide window to match damping to tyre compound, track surface and session length rather than picking between a handful of preset stiffness levels. The small-orifice oil-path design inside each knob is what delivers that adjustment resolution, and on rough sections of a circuit it can produce a faint noise as oil moves through the narrow passage – that’s the design working as intended, not a fault. It’s built for sustained circuit lap-time work, where a damper has to hold its characteristics through heat cycling and repeated compression rather than just one enthusiastic drive. On this application, the kit is paired with the cancellation solution for the C207’s electronic damping control, since the factory six-cylinder cars weren’t wired for a passive adjustable damper out of the box.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz E CLASS COUPE (2009-2017)

This kit is built for the Mercedes Benz E-Class Coupe, chassis code ME16-C, across the 2009-2017 production run for six-cylinder models fitted with factory electronic damping. The included cancellation kit is specific to cars built with that electronic damping system – confirm your car has the factory-fitted electronic dampers before ordering, since the standard (non-cancellation) Circuit Master kit is the correct fit for cars without it.
