XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz C CLASS W204 8 CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2007-2014

The V8 W204 left Mercedes’ factory with electronically controlled dampers tuned for motorway comfort, not for holding a set angle mid-slide with the throttle buried. That factory system has to be switched off before a fixed-rate coilover can actually do its job, and that’s exactly why this XYZ Racing Drift Spec kit for the Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204 8 CYL comes with the cancellation kit built into the package.

Drift Spec is XYZ Racing’s angle-and-control build, set up for holding the rear end out rather than keeping the car pinned flat. On a heavy, rear-wheel-drive V8 saloon like the W204, that distinction matters: you want suspension that controls body roll without fighting the car once it steps out.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2014 Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204 8 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping)

With the factory electronic damping cancelled out, the car stops hunting for a comfort setting mid-corner and holds whatever rate you’ve set it to. Dropping ride height correctly, with the bump stroke matched to that lower stance, keeps the body settled through fast direction changes instead of pitching and rolling into the slide. That stability is what lets you hold an angle cleanly rather than correct for a wallowing chassis on top of correcting for the rear stepping out. The modified rear integration accounts for the W204’s independent rear end, so the geometry change doesn’t fight the factory subframe mounting points. Up front, the V8’s extra nose weight is controlled properly rather than left to dive and upset the initiation.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec range specifically around competition drifting, not fast road use dressed up in drift branding. The core job is keeping the body stable through high-speed, high-angle direction changes, so the car holds a clean line into and through a slide instead of the body movement fighting the driver’s steering input. Getting the ride height down is only half the job – the bump stroke has to be calculated to suit that lower height, which is the difference between a car that just looks low and one that actually controls a slide properly. Adjustability is there so you can find that setting for your car and your event, rather than living with a single fixed compromise.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204 (2007-2014)

This kit is built for the W204-generation C CLASS, chassis code ME44-C, 8-cylinder cars from the 2007-2014 production run. It’s specified for the modified-rear-integrated variant with the cancellation kit for the factory electronic damping system included, so no separate bypass part is needed at fitting.
