XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz C CLASS W204 8 CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2007-2014

The W204 C-Class’s 8-cylinder cars put big, unruly torque through the rear axle, and on loose surfaces or standing water that torque turns into wheelspin, tramlining and a rear end that steps out with little warning. Anyone who’s driven a V8 W204 in the wet knows the factory suspension runs out of ideas fast once the surface stops behaving.

The Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is built around that problem rather than around a dry Tarmac lap time. It’s a rally and rallycross-derived damper with extended front and rear travel, so the car has more room to absorb compressions and crests before the chassis runs out of suspension and the wheel unloads.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2014 Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204 8 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping)

Because this fitment replaces the W204’s factory electronic damping control, you get a fully mechanical, driver-set damper in its place – no ECU arbitration deciding how the rear end reacts mid-corner. The 3-way adjustment lets you shift the balance toward compliance for loose or broken surfaces, or firm things up when the road cleans up. A larger internal reservoir carries more suspension oil and nitrogen gas than a standard road coilover, which matters on longer stages or track sessions where sustained damper work builds heat – more fluid volume means the oil has further to climb before it degrades and the damping goes soft. On a car this heavy over the front axle, that consistency is what keeps the rear planted under power rather than skating.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This is a damper designed first for rally and rallycross use, where longer wheel travel front and rear buys the car a bigger margin against sudden compressions without bottoming out. The extended oil and nitrogen capacity is the core of the design – it’s there specifically to stop shock oil temperatures climbing too high during long, hard use and cooking the damping characteristics. The 3-way adjustment knobs work through deliberately small internal oil passages; on sharp bumps that can produce a faint noise as oil moves through them, which is expected behaviour rather than a fault. Despite the gravel and snow-focused engineering, XYZ Racing builds this damper to hold up on circuit track surfaces too, so bump absorption at speed isn’t a concern.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204 8 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) (2007-2014)

Built for the W204-generation C-Class, 8-cylinder cars, 2007 to 2014. This spec includes the modified rear-integrated mounting and the cancellation kit required to remove the factory electronic damping system before fitting a mechanical coilover in its place.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
