XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz C CLASS W204/S204 8 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2007-2014

The W204/S204 C-Class landed with a factory electronic damping system that fights exactly the kind of instant, decisive weight transfer competitive drifting demands. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover for the Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204/S204 8 CYL replaces that setup outright, and the cancellation kit for electronic damping strips out the factory control module’s veto so the car answers to the coilover, not the ECU.

Built specifically for drift, this kit is tuned to hold the car’s body flat and predictable through the high-speed transitional loading a big V8 saloon generates mid-slide. Lower the ride height correctly within the bump stroke XYZ Racing specifies for this chassis and the angle the C-Class holds becomes far easier to read and correct.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2014 Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204/S204 8 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping)

The 8-cylinder engine that fills this fitment brings serious mass over the front axle and enough torque to break the rear tyres loose on demand – the two things a drift setup has to manage at the same time. With the factory electronic damping removed from the equation, the coilover’s own 3-knob adjustment does the job instead: independent control over compression and rebound lets you set the rear soft enough to load progressively into a slide, and firm enough up front to stop the nose diving and killing entry speed. Dropping the ride height within the specified bump stroke lowers the C-Class’s centre of gravity and tightens the weight transfer window, so the car settles into an angle rather than snapping into one. Because the internals are built around a small-oil-hole damping circuit rather than a road-biased valve, response stays consistent run after run, not just on the first pass.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec line for one job: keeping a car’s body composed while it’s sideways at speed, not just going in a straight line. The valving is calibrated to stabilise the chassis through high-speed transitional cornering so the car holds a clean, controllable angle instead of snapping between grip and slip. Ride height comes down within a bump stroke window set to preserve that control – go lower than XYZ Racing’s spec and the damper starts running out of travel exactly when it’s needed most. Each corner runs 3 external adjustment knobs feeding a small-oil-hole damping circuit, which is what gives the fine, incremental control a drift setup needs over a standard road-going valve. That small-passage design can produce a faint noise over sharp bumps on track – it’s a byproduct of oil metering through the smaller passage, not a fault, and the kit is built with circuit-track surfaces already accounted for.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C CLASS W204/S204 8 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) (2007-2014)

This kit is built for the W204 saloon and S204 estate C-Class in 8-cylinder form produced between 2007 and 2014, where the factory electronic damping control needs to be cancelled out before a coilover can take over ride and damping duties. The cancellation hardware is matched to this chassis (ME07-C) specifically – confirm your car carries the factory electronic damping system before ordering, since the standard Pro Racing Drift Spec kit without cancellation is the correct part for W204/S204 cars that don’t run it.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit
