XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — BMW 4 SERIES F32 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) (Modified Rear Integrated) 2013-2026

The F32 4 Series was never built with loose-surface travel in mind, but the RWD 4 and 6-cylinder cars without adaptive EDC dampers are exactly the ones suited to a long-travel rally-spec coilover: a factory-fixed damper base with no electronics to override, and a rear end this Pro Racing Gravel/Snow kit is built to work with through its Modified Rr Integrated mounting.

Pro Racing Gravel/Snow is XYZ Racing’s stage and circuit kit for cars that need more suspension travel than a fast-road setup allows, front and rear, plus enough oil and nitrogen gas capacity to survive sustained hard use without the shock temperature climbing. On a 4/6-cylinder F32 running the standard, non-M-Sport suspension geometry, that means keeping the tyre loaded and the damper working through compressions a tarmac-only setup would simply bottom out on.

What this coilover does for your 2013-2026 BMW 4 Series F32 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) (Modified Rr Integrated)

Extended front and rear travel gives the F32’s chassis more room to move before the bump stops engage, which matters on gravel or snow, where wheel articulation over a rutted surface is the difference between traction and a spinning inside wheel. The larger internal oil and nitrogen gas volume keeps damping consistent as the shocks heat up over a long stage or extended session, rather than fading the way a smaller-capacity unit would. Because this fitment excludes the factory EDC adaptive dampers, the coilover’s three adjustment knobs become the car’s only damping control, and with no electronic system to override them, every click of compression or rebound you set stays set. On the standard suspension geometry this fitment assumes, ride height and camber can be brought back into a range that suits a wider, stickier tyre without disturbing the RWD chassis’s natural balance.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow around rally and rally-cross use, where the surface underneath the car changes metre to metre and the suspension has to absorb hits a smooth circuit never produces. Both the front and rear dampers get significantly more travel than XYZ’s road or circuit ranges, creating a bigger buffer before the suspension runs out of stroke over a rut, jump or compression. Internally, the shock carries a larger volume of both damping oil and nitrogen gas than a standard unit, which is what lets it hold its damping characteristics through a full stage or session rather than the oil overheating and the damping fading. The three external adjustment knobs meter oil through a deliberately small passage, which is why you may hear a faint noise from the damper when the wheel is working hard over big compressions – that is the design doing its job, not a fault, and it is the same internal construction XYZ uses on the circuit-track version of this kit.

Fitment for the BMW 4 Series F32 (2013-2026)

This kit is built for the F32-chassis 4 Series, four and six-cylinder cars, from 2013 through to 2026. It is specific to cars without the M-Technik (M Sport) suspension package, without xDrive four-wheel drive, and without factory EDC adaptive dampers, and it uses the Modified Rr Integrated rear mounting for this exact chassis code, BM100.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

Front

  • Pillow ball + rubber top mountPillow ball + rubberP+Pillow-ball upper with a rubber insert — adds steering precision and camber adjustability while keeping some of the factory mount’s harshness damping.
  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
