XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL 2018-2026

The G20 BM106 platform covers a lot of ground under one code – 2WD 330i and 320d cars, xDrive 4WD variants, four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines – but every one of them fights the same problem at the line. Power comes in, the nose lifts, the rear settles unevenly, and the driven tyres are asked to hook up before the chassis has actually transferred any weight onto them.

XYZ Racing’s Drag Racing coilover is built around that single moment rather than a corner. It replaces the factory spring and damper rates with a setup tuned for repeated 0-400 metre runs, and it’s designed to work across FWD, RWD or 4WD layouts – which matters here, because a 2WD BM106 and an xDrive BM106 need to load their tyres in completely different ways to leave the line clean.

What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 Bmw 3 SERIES G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL

On a rear-drive 330i or M340i, this kit lets you push more of the car’s weight onto the rear axle the instant the throttle goes down, so the driven tyres see greater compression and grip the tarmac rather than spinning past it. On an xDrive G20, the same principle splits that load transfer across both axles, which cuts down the wheel idle time – the fraction of a second where a tyre spins free before it bites – that otherwise costs a launch its consistency. Less idle time at each wheel means less wasted rotation and a straighter, more repeatable run down the strip. At the far end of that same run, the settings that manage weight transfer at launch also keep the G20 planted as speed builds, rather than letting it get light and nervous in the last few hundred metres.

About the Drag Racing coilover

This coilover is engineered specifically for 0-400 metre drag work rather than circuit or fast-road use, and it’s built to suit FWD, RWD and 4WD platforms from the same core concept. The setup allows the front-to-rear weight balance to shift in the instant the car launches, directing load onto whichever axle actually drives the car forward – the rear on a 330i, both ends on an xDrive model. That shift forces greater compression into the driven tyres at the exact moment they need it, which reduces the amount of time a wheel spends spinning free before it finds traction. Less idle spin translates directly into a cleaner 60-foot time and a more stable car as it accelerates through the run. It’s a coilover built around one job – getting the power down – rather than one tuned for turn-in or mid-corner balance.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 SERIES G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL (2018-2026)

This kit is matched to the BM106 chassis code, covering the G20-generation 3 Series built from 2018 through 2026, and it’s specified separately for 2WD and xDrive 4WD drivetrains across both four-cylinder and six-cylinder engine variants. Confirm your car’s drivetrain and engine configuration against BM106 before ordering, as the launch characteristics – and the settings this coilover is built around – differ between a 2WD and an xDrive car.

What buyers also search for

  • BMW 3 Series G20 drag racing coilover for 2WD and xDrive launches
  • BM106 suspension setup built for 0-400m runs rather than track days
  • BMW G20 M340i and 330i wheel hop and traction control at the line
  • BMW 3 Series drag coilover options across 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder builds

Get your G20 launching straighter and hooking up harder off the line – configure yours below.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.
