XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F30 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) (Modified Rear Integrated) 2011-2026

The F30 3 Series was never sold with a factory drift set-up – the standard chassis geometry is tuned for stability, not a controllable slide. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover strips that stability back out, giving the rear-drive 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder F30 the angle control and predictable weight transfer that competitive drifting demands.

This build excludes M-Technik, xDrive and EDC cars because a drift set-up needs a chassis free of electronic damping interference or four-wheel drive taking the slip away, and it’s specified for the modified rear-integrated mounting this platform requires. Ride height, compression and rebound are all adjustable from the same kit, so the car can be moved from car-park practice to competition angle without swapping parts.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2026 BMW 3 Series F30

Drop the ride height correctly on this kit and the F30’s centre of gravity comes down enough to hold a bigger angle for longer before it wants to spin – the extended bump stroke keeps the tyre loaded as the rear steps out, instead of the wheel unloading and losing grip mid-slide. The three-way adjustment lets you separate compression and rebound from ride height, so a 4-cylinder 320i running lighter and a 335i or 340i six-cylinder carrying more weight over the nose can both be set up correctly rather than sharing one compromise spring rate. Because the kit is built around the modified rear-integrated mount for this chassis, the geometry stays predictable through the transition – the point where most drift cars either catch grip unexpectedly or snap past the angle they were aiming for. Expect a firmer ride than the factory set-up at road speeds; that trade-off is what buys the control at the limit.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec range specifically around the demands of drift competition rather than adapting a road or circuit-racing spring rate. The core job is keeping the car’s body stable through a high-speed direction change so the driver can hold a clean, consistent angle instead of fighting body roll on top of the slide. Each corner runs three adjustment knobs, controlling compression, rebound and ride height independently, with a deliberately small oil-passage design inside the damper. That small-passage construction is what gives the fine, low-speed control drift needs, and it’s also why you may hear a faint noise from the damper when the car crosses a sharp bump or kerb – that’s oil moving through the reduced passage as intended, not a fault. The kit is engineered for circuit and track surfaces rather than rough road use, and bump noise on those surfaces is expected rather than a sign of a problem.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series F30 (2011-2026)

This kit (chassis code BM99) covers the F30-generation 3 Series built 2011-2026, across both 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engine variants. It’s specified for cars without M-Technik trim, without xDrive four-wheel drive, and without factory EDC electronic damping, and it’s built to the modified rear-integrated mounting this fitment requires – confirm your car matches that spec before ordering.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
