XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 2 SERIES G87 M2 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2023-2026

The G87 M2’s S58 twin-turbo straight-six puts more than 450bhp through a rear axle that was never going to hold a clean, sustained angle on the standard dampers. Feed that kind of torque in sideways and the factory suspension’s compliance-biased tuning fights you exactly when you’re trying to hold the car on the edge of grip. The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around a different priority: controlling body movement through the transition, not softening it.

This kit is spec’d for the modified rear-integrated version of the G87 M2 – the fitment that assumes the rear subframe and link hardware have already been prepared for sustained slide work. That means the coilover itself doesn’t have to compromise between road comfort and drift control, because the car underneath it has already been set up to take the load.

What this coilover does for your 2023-2026 Bmw 2 Series G87 M2

Drop the ride height correctly and the M2’s centre of gravity moves exactly where a drift car wants it – lower and more predictable through weight transfer as you initiate. The three external adjustment knobs let you tune compression and rebound independently front to rear, so you can set the car to break traction on your terms rather than the tyre’s. On an M2 running big power through the rear axle, that adjustability matters more than outright stiffness: you’re not looking for a harsh ride, you’re looking for a chassis that tells you exactly where the rear tyres are at every point in the slide. Bump-stroke control keeps the body settled once the car is loaded up mid-drift, so the transition from entry to sustained angle doesn’t unsettle the platform underneath you.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This is a coilover built specifically around drift use rather than adapted from a track or road platform. Its damping is tuned to stabilise the car’s body through high-speed direction changes, which is what lets a driver hold a clean, consistent angle instead of the rear stepping out unpredictably. Lowering the ride height within the kit’s designed bump stroke is where the benefit shows up most – get that set-up right and the improvement in drift control is immediately obvious from behind the wheel. Each corner runs three external adjustment knobs, and the internal oil path uses a small-passage design at those knobs; driving over larger bumps can produce a faint noise from oil moving through that passage, which is expected rather than a fault. The kit is built with circuit-style surfaces in mind, where drift cars actually run, so occasional bump noise on rough tarmac isn’t something to be concerned about.

Fitment for the Bmw 2 Series G87 M2 (2023-2026)

This spec is built for the G87-generation BMW 2 Series M2, covering the 2023 to 2026 model years. It’s matched to the modified rear-integrated fitment – cars where the rear subframe and link hardware have already been set up for this coilover, rather than the standard unmodified rear end. Confirm your car matches that rear-end spec before ordering, since this kit is built to pair with it specifically.

Get the ride height, damping and rear-end match right for your G87 M2 and the car will do exactly what you ask of it through the transition – configure yours below.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

Front
