XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Toyota CAMRY SE XV50 (80mm center-to-center) 2012-2017

The XV50 Camry SE’s front-heavy weight distribution shows up hardest when the road disappears – loose gravel, rutted farm lanes, hard-packed snow – where a factory-spec strut lets the nose dive and unweights the outside front tyre right when you need bite. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover kit for this chassis (TO16-1, 80mm centre-to-centre) is built around longer front and rear travel specifically to keep the dampers working through that kind of terrain instead of topping or bottoming out.

This is the loose-surface specification in XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing range: bigger internal buffer distance for suspension travel, greater suspension oil and nitrogen gas volume, and a valving strategy built to keep working consistently through repeated hard hits rather than fading after one big compression.

What this coilover does for your 2012-2017 Toyota Camry SE XV50 (80mm center-to-center)

On a Camry running gravel or snow-covered roads, the extra wheel travel front and rear is what keeps this kit doing its job when tarmac-spec suspension would already be topping or bottoming out over compressions and ruts. The enlarged oil and nitrogen gas capacity gives the dampers more thermal headroom, so valving stays consistent instead of fading as oil temperature climbs on a long stage or a lengthy snow-covered commute. Three external adjustment knobs per corner let you retune compression and rebound as conditions change – packed snow one weekend, loose gravel the next – without stripping the dampers down. The longer-travel spring perch also helps keep the nose-heavy XV50 platform’s front end controlled under trail-braking into a loose corner, holding the outside front tyre loaded when you need the grip most.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow line specifically for rally and rallycross use, where the surface underneath the car changes corner to corner. Both front and rear dampers get extended travel over the standard road-going kits in the range, giving the suspension a bigger buffer before it runs out of stroke over a compression or rut. Internally, the dampers carry a larger volume of suspension oil and nitrogen gas than tarmac-spec parts, which is what stops oil temperature climbing to the point where damping quality drops off after sustained hard use. Each corner has three external adjustment knobs working through a small-orifice oil-passage design; driven hard over rough surfaces, that passage can produce a faint mechanical noise, which is a normal characteristic of the valving rather than a fault. The kit is engineered so repeated hits from rough, broken surfaces are absorbed as part of normal operation rather than something the driver has to work around.

Fitment for the Toyota Camry SE XV50 (80mm center-to-center) (2012-2017)

This kit is mapped to chassis code TO16-1, covering the Toyota Camry SE built on the XV50 platform from 2012 to 2017, specifically the version with 80mm centre-to-centre strut top mounting. Check that measurement against your car before ordering, so you’re matching the correct mount pattern for this generation of Camry.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
