XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-2/S (without hydraulic lift system) 2019-2026

Put a rear-engined 911 onto loose surfaces and the trait that makes the 992 Carrera fast on tarmac – the flat-six mass hung behind the rear axle – becomes the thing the whole car has to be built around. On gravel and snow that rearward weight is traction you want to use, but only if the dampers can keep the rear wheels tracking the ground through ruts, crests and compressions. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover for the Porsche 992 Carrera-2/S is built for that job, not for sitting low on a Sunday.

This is a long-travel, loose-surface setup for the rear-drive Carrera 2 and 2 S, aimed at rally and rallycross use rather than fast-road posing. Because it is specified for the 992 without the hydraulic lift system, it suits cars that never carried the factory front-axle raise option and gives you a clean, mechanical platform to set up from.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 Carrera-2/S

The extended front and rear travel is the headline change you feel on the 992: the kit keeps the contact patch loaded over surfaces that would unsettle a short-travel tarmac coilover, so the rear axle puts its weight advantage to work instead of skipping and stepping out. Three adjustment knobs let you tune the car for the grip level under you, from packed snow to broken gravel. The larger oil and nitrogen volume means the damping you set on the first run is close to the damping you still have several stages later, rather than going soft as the fluid heats. On a rear-engined car that rewards a settled rear, that consistency is what lets you commit to throttle earlier out of loose corners.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

XYZ Racing designed this damper primarily for rally racing and rallycross, where the priority is keeping the car stable over big inputs rather than chasing a low static ride height. The longer stroke at both ends builds in a bigger buffer, so the suspension has somewhere to go when the surface drops away or kicks up. To support hard, sustained use, the design carries a greater volume of suspension oil and nitrogen gas, which steadies the shock and holds oil temperature down so the damping does not get cooked out over a long run. Control comes from three separate adjustment knobs. One trait worth knowing: the small oil-hole design means that over large bumps the fluid is forced through a tight passage, which can produce a faint noise – that is normal behaviour, not a fault, and it is part of how the damper handles rough ground.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 Carrera-2/S (2019-2026)

This kit is specified for the Porsche 992 chassis (PO19) across the 2019 to 2026 production span, covering the rear-wheel-drive Carrera 2 and Carrera 2 S. It is the version for cars built without the hydraulic lift system. Confirm your exact variant and options against the configurator before ordering.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
