XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Lexus NX (AZ10) 2/4WD (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2015-2021

The AZ10-generation NX was never built to hold an angle – Lexus tuned this crossover’s suspension for isolation and comfort, with a centre of gravity and factory ride height that work against you the moment you load the outside front tyre and try to hold a drift through a bend. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built specifically to counter that: a full mechanical replacement engineered for competitive drifting, not fast-road comfort.

Because higher NX trims run Lexus’s electronically controlled adaptive dampers, this kit ships as the cancellation version, with the module needed to stop the factory AVS system fighting the new manual dampers. Spring rate, damping curve and ride height are set by you, not by the ECU.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2021 Lexus NX

Drop the AZ10’s ride height correctly, with the bump stroke set as intended, and body roll through transition drops off noticeably – the platform stops wallowing on turn-in and holds its line while you feed in the angle. The 3-way damping adjustment lets you firm up compression for weight transfer control on entry and back off rebound so the rear stays settled once you’re sideways, rather than pogoing through the mid-corner. Cancelling the factory electronic damping control removes the single biggest inconsistency in this chassis for competitive use: a computer deciding to soften or firm the dampers mid-manoeuvre. With the AVS module cancelled, damping response stays exactly where you left it, corner after corner, which matters more on an SUV-based platform than on a car that was already stiff from the factory.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This is a dedicated drift-racing design, not a general fast-road kit re-badged for the NX. The 3 adjustment knobs use a small-oil-hole internal design that lets you fine-tune compression and rebound independently for holding a controlled slide angle at speed – the trade-off is that oil passing through that smaller passage can produce a faint noise over sharp bumps, which is a normal characteristic of the design rather than a fault. XYZ Racing built this spec around circuit-track surfaces specifically, so bump absorption isn’t tuned for pothole-strewn B-roads. Once ride height is set with the correct bump stroke, the geometry is what keeps the AZ10’s body stable while the rear steps out, instead of pitching and rolling on top of the slide.

Fitment for the Lexus NX (2015-2021)

Built for the Lexus NX, chassis code AZ10, covering 2WD and 4WD variants from 2015 to 2021. This is the cancellation-kit version for cars fitted with Lexus’s electronic adaptive damping – it includes the module needed to disable factory AVS control so the mechanical dampers run independently of the ECU.

Configure your Pro Racing Drift Spec setup for the AZ10 NX below, and set ride height and damping to match how you actually drive it.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
