XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Lexus NX (AZ10) 2/4WD (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2015-2021

The NX AZ10 was never meant to slide. It’s a tall, FWD-based crossover with a factory AVS electronic damper system tuned for comfort and grip, and neither trait helps a driver holding a car sideways through a transition. Drop the ride height, fix the valving, and that same chassis mass becomes something you can actually load and unload on command.

That’s the job of the XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover for the Lexus NX (AZ10) 2/4WD. It’s built around a fixed, aggressive damping character rather than street-comfort compromise, and this version ships with the cancellation kit needed to remove the AVS electronic damping module from the equation entirely – no fault codes, no fighting the factory computer for control of the corners.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2021 Lexus NX (AZ10)

Lower the centre of gravity on a crossover this tall and the body control gain is immediate – less roll into the transition, less of the pitch-and-wallow that makes an NX feel like it’s fighting you mid-drift. The kit’s fixed valving is set up to help the driver stabilise the body through high-speed direction changes, which is what actually lets you hold an angle instead of correcting one. Proper bump stroke calibration at the lowered ride height keeps the wheel loaded through the stroke rather than topping or bottoming out when weight transfers hard onto one corner – the difference between a controlled slide and a snap. Because the cancellation kit removes the AVS electronic damper from the circuit, there’s no factory system trying to soften the response back out from under the fixed valving you’ve just installed. On the 2/4WD AZ10, that combination turns a comfort-biased crossover into a chassis that actually responds to throttle and steering inputs the way a drift build needs to.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec line specifically around competition drifting, not fast-road use dressed up in a drift name. The valving is tuned to keep the body stable and predictable through fast, high-speed direction changes – the exact loading a car experiences when a driver is fighting to hold a precise angle rather than simply cornering. Ride height drop is paired with a bump stroke calibration that’s been worked out to suit drift-specific loading, so the suspension has somewhere to go when weight slams onto one corner mid-transition instead of running out of travel at the worst possible moment. For a platform like the NX AZ10, where the factory AVS system was never designed with any of this in mind, the included cancellation kit is what makes the rest of the kit usable – it takes the electronic damper out of the loop so the fixed-valve hardware is doing the actual work, with nothing overriding it. The result is a coilover built to keep a heavy, tall-bodied car composed and responsive at the angles competitive drifting demands.

Fitment for the Lexus NX (AZ10) (2015-2021)

This kit is specified for the Lexus NX AZ10 chassis across both 2WD and 4WD drivetrain configurations, covering the 2015-2021 model years. It includes the cancellation kit required for cars fitted with the factory electronic AVS damping system, so the AVS module can be removed from the circuit without triggering dashboard faults. Confirm your NX’s drivetrain (2WD or 4WD) and whether your car was specified with electronic dampers before ordering, as both affect which hardware in the kit you’ll actually use.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
