XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Lancia DELTA INTEGRALE (TYPE 1) 1987-1989

The Delta Integrale Type 1 was homologated to win rallies, and its permanent four-wheel-drive layout only earns its keep when every corner stays loaded over broken ground. On gravel and snow the LA01 chassis wants suspension travel and consistent damping far more than it wants a low, stiff tarmac setup, and that is exactly the brief this kit answers.

The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is built for loose-surface competition rather than smooth circuit work. It gives the 8-valve Integrale the longer stroke and thermal headroom needed to soak up stage hits and stay composed across a full run, instead of fading as the oil heats.

What this coilover does for your 1987-1989 Lancia Delta Integrale (Type 1)

Extended front and rear travel gives the Integrale a bigger buffer over compressions, ruts and jumps, so the car settles instead of skipping wide on power. Because the damper carries a larger volume of oil and nitrogen gas, shock temperatures climb more slowly, which keeps damping force honest deep into a long stage rather than going soft late on. The three adjustment knobs let you separate bump and rebound behaviour to suit gravel versus snow grip, and on a torque-split 4WD car that control directly changes how cleanly the front axle bites on turn-in. The result is a Delta that tracks straighter under power and stays predictable when the surface is anything but.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This is a rally and rallycross damper first and foremost. The headline design choice is increased suspension travel front and rear, opening up a larger buffer distance that helps the car stay stable when it is being thrown across uneven ground. To support that, XYZ Racing expanded the oil and nitrogen capacity inside the shock body: more fluid and gas means the damper resists heat soak and holds its characteristics through extended, repeated abuse instead of exhausting the oil. Adjustment runs through three knobs feeding small-orifice oil passages. Drive over a sharp impact and you may hear a faint noise as fluid is forced through those passages at speed – this is normal for the design and not a fault. It is a coilover engineered for surfaces where ride quality is secondary to keeping all four wheels working.

Fitment for the Lancia Delta Integrale (Type 1) (1987-1989)

This kit is matched to the Lancia Delta Integrale Type 1, chassis code LA01, covering the 1987 to 1989 model years. It suits the 8-valve permanent four-wheel-drive platform as homologated for Group A competition. Confirm your chassis code and year against the listing before configuring.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
