XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Lancia DELTA INTEGRALE (TYPE 1) 1987-1989

The Type 1 Integrale runs permanent four-wheel drive through an epicyclic centre diff and sits on MacPherson struts at every corner – a layout that responds far more to a precise, well-matched spring and damper setup than to brute spring rate. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover for the Lancia Delta Integrale (Type 1) drops the ride height on a properly set bump stroke, so the LA01 chassis stays composed when you load it hard mid-corner instead of crashing through its travel.

This is a circuit and competition setup, built to keep the body stable through fast direction changes and hold a deliberate attitude on the way through. On an early eight-valve homologation rally car that now spends most of its life on track days and historic events, that body control is what lets the Integrale’s traction advantage actually land on the apex.

What this coilover does for your 1987-1989 Lancia Delta Integrale (Type 1)

Lowering the Integrale on a matched bump stroke pulls the centre of gravity down and sharpens turn-in without leaving the car bottoming through its travel. Three independent adjustment knobs let you set damping to suit the surface, so you can run a firmer setup for an event and back it off afterwards. Body roll comes down, weight transfer becomes something you meter rather than fight, and the four-wheel-drive system gets a flatter, more consistent platform to put its torque through. Braking into a corner feels more planted, and the car holds the line you ask of it rather than washing wide. One honest note: over big bumps the oil moving through the small internal passages can produce a faint noise, which the design treats as normal rather than a fault.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec is XYZ Racing’s competition-focused coilover, built around drift and circuit use rather than road comfort. Its core job is body stability during fast, high-load turning – keeping the car settled so the driver can set and hold a clean angle. Three adjustment knobs give separate control over the damping, so the response can be tuned to the track and the driving style. The valving uses a small-orifice oil-passage design; on sharp impacts the fluid is forced through that restricted passage, which can generate a slight noise the maker flags as expected behaviour. Ride height is adjustable, and the engineering brief assumes a correct bump stroke is set so the lowered car retains usable travel. This is hardware aimed at prepared circuit surfaces, where bumps are not a concern, rather than broken back roads.

Fitment for the Lancia Delta Integrale (Type 1) (1987-1989)

This kit is matched to the Type 1 Lancia Delta Integrale, chassis code LA01, covering the 1987 to 1989 model years. Confirm your chassis code against the listing before configuring so you know you are on the correct Type 1 platform.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
