XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Hyundai TUCSON 2004-2009

The first-generation Hyundai Tucson (JM) rides tall, rolls early and was damped for school-run comfort, not loose-surface attack – which is exactly the blank canvas a rally-style coilover wants to work with. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover for the Hyundai Tucson 2004-2009 is built for gravel stages and snow, where usable wheel travel and damper stamina count for far more than how low the car sits.

This is the long-travel end of the XYZ Racing range. Rather than slamming a transverse, nose-heavy crossover to the ground, it keeps the suspension working through ruts, crests and compressions so the Tucson stays planted when the surface stops being tarmac.

What this coilover does for your 2004-2009 Hyundai Tucson

On a soft-surface stage you will feel the front axle settle instead of crashing through its bump stops, because the longer travel gives the damper room to absorb big inputs before it runs out of stroke. The three-way adjustment lets you set the Tucson up softer for deep snow and firmer for hard-packed gravel without changing the part. The larger oil and gas volume keeps damping consistent on long runs, so the car behaves the same on the last corner as it did on the first. For a tall AWD-capable SUV that understeers on standard parts, that translates to a front end you can actually trust when you commit to a turn-in.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This damper is engineered for rally and rallycross use, which is why it carries noticeably longer travel front and rear than a circuit kit. That extra stroke creates a bigger buffer before the suspension reaches its limit, keeping the car stable over jumps and broken ground. XYZ Racing increases the internal shock-oil and nitrogen-gas capacity specifically to resist heat build-up, so the oil is far less likely to overheat and fade after sustained hard use. Control comes from three adjustment knobs, and the small oil-passage design behind them means you may hear a faint noise when the damper works hard over large bumps – that is the oil moving through its passages and is entirely normal. It is a setup tuned for surfaces where ruts and impacts are constant rather than the exception.

Fitment for the Hyundai Tucson (2004-2009)

This kit is matched to the first-generation Hyundai Tucson, chassis code HY24, covering the 2004 to 2009 model years. It is a direct-fit coilover for that platform – confirm your exact build year against the range above before configuring.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
