XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Honda INTEGRA RSX DC5 2001-2006

The DC5 Integra moved to a MacPherson-strut front end, and on loose surfaces that front axle wants travel and oil capacity the standard damper never had. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover for the Honda Integra RSX DC5 is built for exactly that brief: gravel, snow and rallycross, where the suspension has to keep working long after a tarmac damper would have cooked.

This is the long-travel end of the XYZ range. Where a circuit kit trades stroke for control, this one keeps the K20-powered DC5 settled over crests, ruts and frozen ruts without bottoming the front struts mid-corner.

What this coilover does for your 2001-2006 Honda Integra RSX DC5

On a front-drive car like the DC5, traction off slow corners lives or dies by how the loaded front strut tracks the ground. The extra suspension travel here gives the front axle a bigger buffer before it runs out of stroke, so the inside front stays planted as you feed in VTEC on the way out. The larger oil and nitrogen volume means the damping holds its consistency across a long stage rather than fading as the shock heats. You get a car that absorbs a rutted surface instead of skating across it, with adjustable rebound and compression to suit a fast gravel road or a deep-snow stage.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This damper is engineered for rally and rallycross use, with noticeably longer travel front and rear than the circuit kits. That extra stroke increases the buffer distance that keeps the car stable when the surface drops away beneath it. The headline of the design is capacity: XYZ have enlarged the volume of both shock oil and nitrogen gas inside each unit, which raises stability and stops the oil temperature climbing high enough to spike and exhaust the damper over a long run. The set uses 3 adjustment knobs, and the small oil-hole metering inside means that over big hits the fluid is forced through a fine passage. That can produce a faint noise on heavy bumps, which is normal behaviour for this construction rather than a fault.

Fitment for the Honda Integra RSX DC5 (2001-2006)

This kit is cut for the DC5 chassis Honda Integra RSX across the full 2001 to 2006 production span. It is a direct-fit coilover set for that platform, front and rear. Confirm your chassis code reads DC5 before configuring, as the earlier DC2 uses a different front geometry.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

Front

  • Pillow ball + rubber top mountPillow ball + rubberP+Pillow-ball upper with a rubber insert — adds steering precision and camber adjustability while keeping some of the factory mount’s harshness damping.
  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
