XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Honda INTEGRA RSX DC5 2001-2006

The DC5 Integra arrived with a K20A that wanted revs and a chassis MacPherson-strutted at the front for packaging rather than pure handling – and on a circuit, that front end is where the lap time hides. Stock dampers run out of body control by the second flying lap at Cadwell or Anglesey, and the front rolls onto its outside shoulder long before the K20 is ready to come back on cam. The Circuit Master is built specifically for that problem.

This is XYZ Racing’s top-tier circuit damper, the same platform run on their Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally builds. For a DC5 owner who has moved past trackdays into series racing, time-attack, or sustained lap-time work, this is the spec that justifies its place over the Super Sport.

What this coilover does for your 2001-2006 Honda Integra RSX DC5

On track, the Circuit Master gives the DC5’s nose the discipline its OEM struts never had – the front stops diving on trail-braking into a slow hairpin, the outside front loads progressively instead of collapsing, and the K20 gets to put power down earlier on corner exit. The three-knob adjustment lets you separate high-speed compression (kerbs, ripple strips) from low-speed compression (body roll, weight transfer) from rebound. That is the control set you need when a DC5 is being pushed – the chassis tells you what it wants through different damper events, and on a single-adjustable coilover you are guessing.

Expect a noticeably firmer ride on the road. This is not a fast-road damper pretending to be a track item; it is the other way round.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master is XYZ Racing’s circuit-spec damper, tested by their race teams worldwide and shared across their Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally programmes. Three independent adjustment knobs combine to give 9720 individual damper settings – the spread you need to tune a chassis for a specific circuit, a specific tyre, and a specific driver, rather than picking a compromise. The damper internals use a small-orifice oil passage that prioritises high-frequency damping control at racing speeds; on rough roads or large compressions you may hear faint oil-flow noise as fluid moves through that small passage, which is a characteristic of the design, not a fault. On a circuit surface, the bumps the damper is built for, it is silent.

The valving and oil specification are sized for sustained heat – back-to-back sessions, race weekends, endurance use – rather than a single hot lap.

Fitment for the Honda INTEGRA RSX DC5 (2001-2006)

Built specifically for the DC5 chassis Integra Type R / RSX, model years 2001 to 2006. Confirm your car’s chassis code matches DC5 before ordering; the 2007-onwards platforms use different mounting geometry.
