XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Honda CRV IV 2012-2016

The fourth-generation CR-V was tuned for the school run, not the apex – a tall, front-heavy crossover that leans hard on its outside front tyre the instant you ask it to change direction in a hurry. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is the opposite intent made physical: a competition damper that drops the body, strips out the factory roll, and turns a high-riding family Honda into something you can deliberately unstick and hold at angle on a circuit.

This is a drift-first kit, built around keeping the body settled mid-corner so the car can be placed precisely and held in a clean, controlled slide. For the 2012-2016 Honda CRV IV that means a wholesale change in how the chassis loads and reacts, well beyond anything a set of lowering springs could deliver.

What these coilovers do for your 2012-2016 Honda CRV IV

Lower the CRV IV onto these coilovers and the first thing you feel is how much flatter it sits through quick transitions – the soft factory body roll that throws the nose wide is largely gone. The three adjustment knobs let you set damping to suit the surface, soft enough to load the tyres progressively or firm enough to react the moment you add steering and throttle. Dropping the ride height with the correct bump stroke pulls down the high centre of gravity that always worked against this crossover, sharpening turn-in and making weight transfer something you direct rather than fight. On a circuit, that means a body that stays composed when you provoke and hold a slide, and a chassis that gives the same predictable response each time you commit to a corner.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is engineered for one job: competitive drifting. Its design is aimed at keeping the body stable through high-speed cornering so the driver can set and hold a clean angle instead of chasing a car that is moving around underneath them. Three adjustment knobs give independent control over how the dampers behave, and the kit pairs a lowered ride height with a properly matched bump stroke to put drift control in an excellent window. The dampers use a small oil-hole design – over larger bumps the oil is forced through a narrow passage, which can produce a faint noise. This is normal and not a fault. XYZ Racing built this kit for circuit and track use, where the surface is predictable and the priority is body control rather than ride comfort. It is a competition tool first, with everything tuned toward stabilising the platform and holding angle when you drive it hard.

Fitment for the Honda CRV IV (2012-2016)

These coilovers are cut for the fourth-generation Honda CRV IV built between 2012 and 2016. Confirm your car falls within that 2012-2016 production window before ordering, and check your exact variant and drivetrain against the configurator, since fitment is specific to this generation of CR-V.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
