XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Porsche 991 GT3 RS (without hydraulic lift system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2016-2026

The 991 GT3 RS arrived as Porsche’s most focused road-legal track car – PASM-managed, hydraulically lifted, and optimised for tarmac. Taking one onto gravel demands a wholesale rethink of its suspension architecture, starting with eliminating the active damping system that the car’s chassis computer assumes is always present.

The XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilover for the Porsche 991 GT3 RS (2016-2026) is built for exactly that conversion. The PASM cancellation hardware is integral to this part number, letting you delete the electronic damping system cleanly while fitting coilovers with the travel and compliance that loose-surface stages actually require.

What this coilover does for your 2016-2026 Porsche 991 GT3 RS

Running a rear-engined GT3 RS on gravel presents handling challenges that differ fundamentally from tarmac driving – the engine’s rearward mass that delivers traction advantages on smooth surfaces becomes a very different proposition when the road breaks away under hard cornering. Extended suspension travel is the first requirement: the Gravel Rally specification provides the long stroke that lets the rear axle follow broken, rutted terrain rather than skip across it. The inverted-tube damper construction improves lateral rigidity at the wheel end, keeping the contact patch consistent through repeated compressions at speed. Spring rates in the kit are derived from rally racing team testing across sandstone, snow, and silt conditions – a verified baseline rather than a tarmac programme adapted for loose stages.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

XYZ Racing’s Gravel Rally specification exists for rally racing and rallycross – disciplines where road surfaces encompass compacted gravel, sandstone, silt, and snow, and where the suspension absorbs sustained impacts that a tarmac-focused setup would not tolerate. The core of the kit is an inverted-tube damper design that XYZ developed in response to the varied and aggressive conditions encountered across different rally disciplines. Long springs paired with a long-stroke damper provide the travel to absorb both sustained chassis vibration and the sudden, high-G compressions generated when a car crests a rise or drops into a hollow at speed. Every spring rate in the Gravel Rally programme has been tested by XYZ Racing’s rally team against real stage conditions, not derived from road-based data. For the 991 GT3 RS, the PASM cancellation components are built into this specification – they disable the electronic damping system cleanly, preventing fault codes and allowing the suspension to function as a conventional passive setup.

Fitment for the Porsche 991 GT3 RS (2016-2026)

This kit is built to chassis code PO13-C and covers the 991 GT3 RS without the hydraulic front lift system across the full 2016-2026 production span. The cancellation kit for electronic damping is included within this part number – it is not a separately purchased add-on. Confirm your car is the non-hydraulic-lift variant before ordering.

A gravel-stage coilover for a car this focused is a narrow specification – built for owners who know exactly what they are converting the GT3 RS into. Configure yours below.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.
