XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Maserati MC20 (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2020-2026

The MC20 was Modena’s clean-sheet supercar, and Maserati built it around a carbon monocoque, a mid-mounted Nettuno V6 and an electronically managed damper at every corner. Strip that electronic damping out and the chassis underneath is a remarkably honest mid-engined platform – one that responds to mechanical adjustment in a way the factory map rarely lets you feel. That is the territory this Drift Spec coilover is built for.

This kit is the drift-oriented setup in the XYZ Racing range, fitted to a Maserati MC20 (chassis MS06-C) running the factory hydraulic lift but with the electronic damping system cancelled. The cancellation harness is included so the dash stays clean and the car does not throw a suspension fault on start-up. What you get back is a fully manual, height and damping-adjustable corner at all four points.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Maserati MC20

Cancelling the electronic damping gives the MC20 a much more linear front end. Turn-in becomes immediate rather than mediated, and the rear axle stops second-guessing throttle inputs at high slip angles. Multi-step damping adjustment lets you set the front softer than the rear for rotation on entry, or balance the car flatter when grip levels are higher. Ride height comes down without lowering the bumper into the road, because the OE hydraulic lift remains live – useful on a car this expensive and this low. On steady-state cornering the chassis sits flatter, body roll is reduced, and the rear tyre stays loaded for longer when you transition to throttle.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec is built around a monotube damper body with a large-bore piston, which is what allows the wide damping range and the consistent oil control under repeat lock-to-lock inputs. Spring rates are pitched higher than the road-oriented kits in the range to keep the chassis settled at angle, and the upper mounts on the front use a pillowball arrangement for sharper steering feel. Ride height is set at the lower spring perch so preload is not lost when you drop the car. The included cancellation kit signals the MC20’s body control module that all four dampers are present and healthy, so the warning lamp stays off and the lift system continues to function independently. Adjustment is on the damper body, accessible without removing the strut.

Fitment for the Maserati MC20 (2020-2026)

This kit is specific to the MC20 with the factory hydraulic nose lift, chassis MS06-C, model years 2020 to 2026. It is the cancellation-kit variant, which means the original electronic damping control unit is bypassed in software terms by the supplied harness. The MC20 Cielo on the same chassis is covered by this part number where the lift hardware matches.

The Drift Spec is the most rotation-friendly setup XYZ Racing builds for the MC20 platform – configure your ride height and damping spec below.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
