XYZ Racing Top Sport Coilovers — Maserati MC20 (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2020-2026

The MC20’s factory adaptive damping is clever on a smooth A-road and frustrating the moment you start asking harder questions of a 621bhp mid-engined supercar on a B-road or a circuit. The Nettuno V6 sits low and central, the carbon tub is stiff, and the chassis is genuinely capable – but the electronic damper map is tuned for a broad ownership envelope, not for the owner who actually wants to lean on the car. This XYZ Racing Top Sport coilover replaces that compromise with a fully manual, mechanically adjustable platform built around the MC20’s hydraulic nose-lift system.

Critically, this kit includes the cancellation module for the electronic damping, which means no dashboard fault lights and no stranded ECU once the OE adaptives come out. The hydraulic lift remains functional, so kerbs, ramps and your own driveway are not a daily problem.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Maserati MC20

Once fitted, the MC20 feels physically lower and noticeably tighter through fast direction changes – the body simply stops floating between inputs. 36-way damping adjustment lets you separate motorway compliance from circuit work without re-shimming anything: wind it back for road, wind it on for track. Independently adjustable ride height (without compressing the spring, which preserves stroke) means you can corner-balance the car properly and set a rake that suits the tyre you actually run. Camber plates at the front give you the negative figures the MC20’s front-end needs to load the outside tyre on turn-in, and the pillowball top mounts sharpen steering feel in a way the rubber-mounted OE units cannot. Most owners notice the brake-zone composure first – the nose stays planted instead of diving onto the front splitter.

About the Top Sport coilover

The Top Sport is XYZ Racing’s circuit-leaning monotube, built for owners who genuinely use their car on track but still drive it on the road. It runs a single-tube damper body with a larger-diameter piston than twin-tube designs, which gives a faster, more consistent damping response when the oil heats up over repeat sessions. Spring rates are stiffer than the road-biased XYZ ranges and matched to the MC20’s mid-engine weight distribution and unsprung mass. The 36 clicks of damping control both bump and rebound on the same dial, so setup changes are quick at the paddock without specialist tools. Construction is steel-bodied with hard-anodised threaded perches, and the kit ships pre-assembled to the supplied spring rates – corner weights and final ride height are set on the car.

Fitment for the Maserati MC20 (2020-2026)

This kit is specific to the MS06-C chassis MC20 with factory hydraulic lift, and the cancellation module is matched to cars originally fitted with electronic adaptive damping. Year coverage runs the full 2020-2026 production window. If your car was specified without hydraulic lift, you need the non-lift variant of this part number, not this one.
