XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally Coilovers — Lexus NX (AZ10) 2/4WD (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2015-2021

The Lexus NX (AZ10)’s factory adaptive variable suspension is tuned for comfort, not for holding a line across a broken tarmac stage – which is why this kit pairs the XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally coilover with a cancellation loom that disables the electronic damping control unit entirely, handing full authority back to physically adjustable dampers. On a crossover platform carrying more mass higher up than a typical rally saloon, that trade matters: body control over crests and mid-corner bumps stops being negotiated between two competing systems and becomes a single, predictable input.

Built for sealed-stage tarmac rally, this coilover is the AZ10 owner’s route into stage work without fighting the car’s own electronics. It replaces the OE strut/damper assembly on both 2WD and 4WD NX variants, front and rear, with hardware set up to absorb repeated hard hits rather than iron them out for comfort.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2021 Lexus NX

Drop the NX onto this coilover and the first thing you’ll feel is how much less the body moves over compressions – the damper is calibrated to absorb the shock of a big hit rather than let it fire straight through the chassis, which keeps the tyre loaded and searching for grip instead of skipping across ruts and lips. Because the electronic AVS is cancelled rather than worked around, there’s no lag while a control module decides how much resistance to apply – the response is mechanical and immediate. On the AZ10’s taller body, that translates into flatter transitions when you’re changing direction quickly between stage bends, and a rear axle that stays settled under trail braking on 4WD cars rather than pattering over broken surfaces. Traction on loose-over-tarmac sections improves too, since the suspension is doing its job of keeping the contact patch on the road instead of hopping.

About the Tarmac Rally coilover

XYZ Racing’s Tarmac Rally line is built around one job: soaking up the punishment of a sealed-stage road surface without losing composure. The damper absorbs the impact from broken and uneven tarmac – the kind of mid-corner lip or crest that unsettles a lesser setup – and controls the resulting shock through the body so it doesn’t translate into a loss of contact patch. That control is what keeps the tyre working and gives the car the stability to hold its line rather than skate wide under load. The valving in this range comes directly from XYZ’s own tarmac rally programme, carried over from what the team has learned actually running these stages rather than derived on a bench in isolation. For the NX (AZ10), that means damping already proven to cope with the repeated, unpredictable hits a stage throws at a car, instead of a generic road setup relabelled for motorsport.

Fitment for the Lexus NX (AZ10) (2015-2021)

Confirmed for the Lexus NX (AZ10) across both 2WD and 4WD drivetrain variants built between 2015 and 2021. This is the cancellation-kit version of the coilover: it includes the loom and module needed to disable the factory electronic damping control before the manually adjustable coilover takes over ride and body control duties.
