XYZ Racing Racing Spec Coilovers — Honda CRV VI 2023-2026

The sixth-generation CR-V is a tall, comfort-tuned family SUV with a long-travel strut front and multi-link rear that was never set up for circuit work. Pitch under braking, body roll through quick direction changes, and a high centre of gravity are exactly the traits a road-car damper is paid to mask – and exactly the traits that show up the moment you point a CR-V VI at a timed lap. The Racing Spec coilover exists to replace that compliance bias with a stiffer, lower, race-tuned platform.

This is the top-end XYZ Racing damper, drawn from settings developed in actual race competition rather than back-extrapolated from a road kit. For a 2023-2026 Honda CR-V VI being prepared for serious track and time-attack use, it is the spec to start with when factory-style ride compliance is no longer the point.

What this coilover does for your 2023-2026 Honda CRV VI

Lowered and properly damped, the CR-V VI stops behaving like an SUV under load. The nose stays flatter on the brakes, the rear stops squatting on corner exit, and the body roll that washes out the front tyres in a long sweeper is reined in. That gives the front contact patch a fair chance to actually carve a line rather than scrub.

Repeat-lap heat is the other gain. A road damper fades inside three or four hot laps in a heavy car; a race-spec damper holds its valving through a session. Combined with the stiffer spring rates and adjustable ride height, the kit lets you set a corner-weighted platform that behaves predictably from the out-lap through to the chequered flag, with consistent turn-in and a rear axle that stays planted under power.

About the Racing Spec coilover

Racing Spec is XYZ Racing’s circuit-development damper, with valving and spring choices drawn directly from race participation – including WTCC programmes – rather than being a road kit with a stiffer label. That competition feedback loop is what separates it from the firm’s fast-road ranges.

Construction is built around sustained race load: heat-tolerant damper internals, race-orientated spring rates, and ride-height adjustment for proper corner-weighting on a setup pad. For cars running aggressive upgrades – aero, big brakes, semi-slick rubber, or a build that mirrors a factory racing or A-class race specification – XYZ Racing will quote custom shock absorbers built to the owner’s parts list and chosen circuit. You supply the modifications and the venue, they build the damper to suit. That bespoke route is part of the Racing Spec proposition, not a retrofit.

Fitment for the Honda CRV VI (2023-2026)

This kit is built for the sixth-generation Honda CR-V (chassis VI), model years 2023 to 2026. Spring rates, damper lengths, and top-mount geometry are spec’d for this generation – earlier RW or RM-series CR-Vs use different hardware and are not covered by this listing.
