The Honda CITY GN is a light, front-driven saloon that rewards a stiff platform far more than its road-car brief suggests – turn-in is sharp on stock suspension but the rear gets lazy under sustained load, and the front end runs out of camber before it runs out of grip. The Circuit Master is the XYZ Racing answer to that, built for owners running the GN as a lap-time tool rather than a daily.

On a GN, the Circuit Master gives you control over a chassis that the factory tuned for noise, vibration and harshness rather than load. With 9720 distinct adjustment settings across the three knobs, you can separate low-speed body control from high-speed damping and tune the rear bias to stop the back axle going light over kerbs. Expect a flatter platform through long third-gear corners, a front end that holds its line under trail-braking instead of washing wide, and a rear that stays planted on power-down out of slow hairpins. Ride height comes down enough to recover the camber the standard geometry throws away, without binding the lower arms at full droop.

The Circuit Master is the competition-spec damper in the XYZ Racing range, developed for Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally programmes and validated by XYZ race teams on international circuits over long test cycles. The three-knob adjuster layout splits bump, rebound and a third circuit so you can tune compression behaviour across stroke speed rather than running a single compromise curve – the 9720-way claim comes from the matrix those three controls produce together. The damper uses a small-orifice oil passage to give a tight, controlled response at racing damper speeds; the trade-off is a faint hydraulic note when the piston is forced through that orifice by a sharp road impact, which is normal behaviour for the design and a non-issue on a circuit surface. This is a circuit damper first – if your GN sees more road than track, the Super Sport is the better fit.
