The 458 Italia’s mid-mounted 4.5-litre F136 screams to 9,000rpm, and the chassis was always set up to reward a driver who could load the front axle on the way in and let the rear rotate on the way out. What it was not set up for is forty-minute sessions at Donington with sticky rubber, where the factory dampers run out of ideas long before the brakes do. The XYZ Racing Circuit Master is the answer to that specific problem on this specific car.
This is the top-tier circuit kit in the XYZ catalogue – the same family used for tarmac rally and competitive racing builds – fitted here to the FE05 chassis without the front-axle hydraulic lifter. It is built for repeat hot-lap work rather than the daily commute, and it asks the driver to live with a more focused setup in exchange for a damper that does not fade when the oil is hot.
What this coilover does for your 2010-2015 Ferrari 458 / 458 Spider
You will feel the front end key in earlier. The 458’s nose, lightly loaded under braking thanks to that mid-engined weight bias, stops floating on turn-in and starts taking direction the instant you commit. Mid-corner, the platform stays flatter under sustained lateral load, which means the contact patch keeps working through the long third and fourth-gear arcs where the OEM setup starts to wallow. Out of slow corners, the rear squats predictably and puts the F136’s torque down rather than wasting it as wheel-judder. The 9,720 combinations of bump, rebound and ride-height adjustment exist so you can move the balance over a weekend – softer rear for cold tarmac in the morning, more front bump as the tyres come in. It is not a kit you set and forget; it is a kit you set up for the circuit you are at.
About the Circuit Master coilover
The Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s competition range alongside the Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally kits, and it has been developed and validated by XYZ race teams running the hardware in international competition. The headline number is 9,720 distinct adjustment combinations, governed by three separate knobs that split bump, rebound and ride height so each can be tuned independently – the kind of granularity normally reserved for spec-series race dampers. Construction uses a small oil-passage design optimised for the sustained, repeatable loads of circuit work; that geometry is what holds damper temperature in check over a long session. One honest note from the manufacturer: those small oil passages can produce a faint hydraulic noise over sharp road bumps, because the kit is built for billiard-table circuit surfaces rather than UK B-roads. On track, where it was designed to live, it is silent and consistent.
Fitment for the Ferrari 458 / 458 Spider (2010-2015)
This kit fits the FE05 458 Italia coupe and 458 Spider produced between 2010 and 2015, specifically the variant WITHOUT the factory front-axle hydraulic lift system. If your car has the OEM nose-lift, this is not the correct part number – check the in-cabin lift button before ordering. Berlinetta and Spider share the same damper application here.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
Top mounts included with your kit
Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.
AluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
